  1. My EBMM Sterling has 22
  2. Profile / Edit profile
  3. Shame it's not in my iTunes...that's the only library I can get to play over the inhouse sound system
  4. Can't you award them to yourself? Profile/Edit profile Or am I missing the point?
  5. Nobody reacted at all...it's almost like they weren't listening. What a disappointment. I must find something else to upset them with.
  6. After days of being subjected to non-stop christmas tunes over the office ceiling speakers I have at last wrestled back control of the sound system. After pissing everyone off last week with Bauhaus 1979-1983 Vol1, I am now subjecting everyone to Recoil Unsound Methods......I'm looking forward to the reaction when we get to Luscious Apparatus .....
  7. How much clearance do you need? What is the overhang distance of the fretboard? What is the length of the access slot? What is the AF size of the allen key required?
  8. Can you not turn the allen key around so that you're using the long end in the rod? Edit: Ah no you can't...I see the problem now..... Edit2: Although if you had a ball ended allen key (they allow approach from an angle) then that would fix it
  9. How are the charts arrived at these days? I can't go to woolies and buy it these days can I?
  10. Why would you if customs aren't inspecting?? What a waste of time and money
  11. It's like a passport for your gear when you go touring. It allows you to import and re-export your gear without paying taxes. It is imperative that everything you take out of the country is everything you bring back in. If you lose something or acquire something expect hold ups and taxes.
  12. that with the length included
  13. We use carnets to US sometimes where I work. Serial numbers are de rigeur. We declare EVERYTHING.
  14. It's more a statement of what they don't want. I'd be surprised if there's consensus on what they want from this.
  15. Make that until Dec 31 2020 - unless the transition period is extended (which Govt are adamant they will not do).
  16. All the gigs I played were great so I can only comment on the best. Highlight was closing the Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Leipzig back in June. The closing song which we hadn't rehearsed for over a year:
  17. I just put Bauhaus 1979-1983 Volume One on in the office over the ceiling speakers........everyone is asking everyone else who 'the hell' has got control of the sound system.... I'm not telling
  18. The rain lashing on the window......
  19. EB do the Stingray Gibson/Epiphone do the Thunderbird Should Fender do the Fireball XL5 ? Eastwood the Captain Scarlet?
  20. Neither of my gig bags fit: Mono M80 & Protec Contego - I managed to get the M80 in, just, after removing all the foam from the bass case interior. I used a padlock through the clasp on the old version but on the only time I flew with this case the padlock, which was quite exposed, broke and the clasp came undone. I replaced the bass case with the later version with a strap around the blunt end which easily comes undone and there is no way to secure it, so much so I didn't ever dare fly with it.
  21. I've done loads of flying with basses - I've used everything from a normal 5star hard case through full BCS flightcases and SKB bass case to the SKB iSeries The SKB iSeries stands head and shoulders above everything else for practicality, lightness, protection. Its wheels are the best bit. I have two of them now and would never use anything else now. The SKB bass safe however proved next to useless for me. It couldn't be guaranteed to stay closed and finding gig bags that fit it is tricky.
  22. I only bought 3 things bass related in 2019: a Musicman lead, a Gravity 9 guitar rack and a single set of EB strings. the most useful: the rack - freed up loads of space the least useful: the lead - I've not used it yet
  23. I'm in - I have been GAS free for a couple of years now. 2019 saw me purchase a lead, some strings and a guitar stand.....I suspect 2020 will see me totally new gear free.
  24. I'd like to think my Black Sterling 4HH with matching headstock and green scratchplate would be instantly recognisable as mine. I looked for ages for a black 4HH with a matching headstock. There seem to be very few in UK.
  25. Cost you £10.95 on this link: https://www.prestomusic.com/sheet-music/products/7031149--vernon-elliott-ivor-the-engine-for-bassoon-and-piano
