I have this pedal. It basically gives your sound more balls, useful if its failing in the mix a bit.

The only thing with that is he's replaced the pickup to an EMG35DC and added a emg preamp .

I played one a while ago and was reasonably impressed. Certainly wasn't awful. That vid sounds good probably also cause he replaced the pickup with an EMG35DC pickup as he says in the description.

That SUB sounds amazing! The jazz seems a bit tame by comparison.

I would recommend just hitting the string with your thumb first so you get an ok sound. Once you got that sorted move onto popping and then your done. Slap was the thing I always wanted to play and I could'nt do it at first but I practiced and now I can do it pretty well. So yeah I would carry on practicing .

For once I think a single cut looks nice . I'd get a 4 string one though .
