    Wow - a great way to alienate people further. This will put the price of a new Ric at about £1600 ? I can understand maintaining the product and not mass producing it, but this seems quite crazy. I can see 2nd hand prices going up too now..

    Cheap wood filler from Homebase did it for me. You get a choice of shades too .

    Unfortunately half-way would cost me about £50 in fuel on a return trip plus take a whole day from me. Since originally putting this up a few weeks ago, i'd decided to strip it down and revamp it. I wasn't expecting anyone to come with an offer so far after really. I think it might be unrealistic to go head with this, I certainly don't want to risk a courier (don't trust them) so we may have to leave this. Hey - what don't you get your RBX765 defretted anyway ? It'll sound the same as the 775 pretty much.

    I got bored of it being fretted and did it when I was drunk. Did a good job though... i've got the opportunity to swap it for an RBX765 which is fretted, don't know what to do.

    It's fine, i've had it over 3 years now and defretted it about 9 months ago. Sounds great - only the preamp lets it down (not much EQ control).

    Yeah the flat silver is the nicest of the options. My RBX775 is flat blue at the moment, i'm going to strip it and see if the wood is good enough for a natural grain.

    Yeah the cabs have a normal 1/4 and speakon connector (like the head). So for 2 cabs you'd need one normal speaker cable and one speakon cable.

    2 x 210 is better than 1 x 410 (unless the 410 is 4ohm). A lot of people on here have said 2 x 210 is better than 1 x 210 + 1 x 115. My 210 is enough at the moment, but if I do upgrade it'll probably be another MAG210.

    If you can get a 410 i'd go for that, the 48 is more for portability and space requirements than anything else.

    As moderators we won't directly interfere with transactions. We can't really take sides and will remain impartial, unless it is obvious someone is purposely committing fraud. What we will do if required is converse between buyer and seller if a stalemate has been reached in order to hopefully bring a solution to both parties. This may be the ability to email sellers directly using their registered email address, this circumvents the need for them to log on to see a PM.

    Correct - an 8ohm cab will not get the most from the head. 2 x 8ohm cabs would, or 1 x 4ohm cab would.
