1. CK - it might be worth identifying if it would be expected for the additional functions to integrate with the existing forum software ? A shop front as far as I can see wouldn't need to ? If it were required then someone with experience of PHP would be suitable.
2. So they'll only let you join if you have a natural finish ?!
3. Seth Horan uses one for very non-metal music and I don't think it looks out of place, nice bass.
4. Problem is you didn't buy a Jazz - it's a copy ! They might have a bunch of generic Fender styled necks they put on basses irrelevant of their body style, could have ended up on a Precision etc..
5. I've spent a good couple of hours getting to know it today, I am astounded by it still - there really isn't anything more I could ask of it. I've played a lot of expensive Fender styled basses (Nordstrand, Shuker etc) and this is an easy match in terms of build quality and tone. Please tell Jazz no refunds or exchanges are accepted without a receipt .
6.
I almost bought that bass from detune jazz a while ago. It's a lovely instrument, especially with the decorative binding around the edge of the body. I only decided against it due to the slab body edges. Lovely instrument! Nice score
The back is still contoured so it doesn't cause me a problem. The clear pickguard really sets it off and it wouldn't look anywhere near as classy with white/black etc.
7. Swapped my Corvette $$ 5 for this with detune_jazz (thanks again !). I initially wanted a Fender Miller Jazz but to be honest, this is superior in every way possible. I'm waiting for full details about it from Bacchus, but it's obviously a Swamp Ash body / Brazilian rosewood neck with body and neck binding. It does absolutely every sound I want it to. The EQ is very powerful and only needs a little tweak either way full good effect. It plays terribly easily and after coming from a Warwick neck is a breeze to get around.
8. And traded for detune_jazz's Bacchus 5
9. I think you might have inverted the images somehow - they're the wrong way round !
10. Please keep opinions regarding price to PM.
11. I've lined up a trade now, thanks for the interest .
12. Cheers wildman. I've had a few nibbles but nothing that takes my fancy, i'll give it another few days and might end up withdrawing if the market is this quiet.
13. It is up to buyers to decide if they want to deal with people in far away countries and take the associated risks involved with a long distance deal .
14. B to the UMP.
15.
I would!
He doesn't mean it .
I think this might be a brilliant introduction to Warwick for me....hmmm. Im a bit wary of shipping though. As I messaged...I need to check the funds
Me too, i'm most definitely not a fan of couriers, but if it came down to it i'd put the Warwick case inside a cardboard box (commute past PMT Birmingam so can get one easy). That should be as safe as possible, but i'd imagine carriage would be at least £20.
16.
nicest $$ iv set my eyes on, beautiful combination of colours
It is tasty, I was playing it earlier and a bit of a "why am I selling it ?!" moment.
17.
Hmm, Any of my wares interest you? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=78132 Plus cash? Summat like that.
I'm not seeing any basses in there ?!
18. Crazy.. my guess it the seller got ripped off when he bought it new and is trying to not feel so bad buy selling it so high.
19. I had one one of these that I picked up for £250 and ended up doing a straight swap for a very good Stingray. They are utterly awesome basses, there are some amazing sounds to come out of them - Ibanez really should reissue them. I think £495 is really not an unreasonable price.
20. I've dabbled in fretless enough to know it isn't for me ! Thanks for the offer though, looks a nice bass.
21. £750 cash price it is then ! I could pick myself up a Miller and pocket the change easily..
22. Howdy chaps. I'm not playing anywhere near as much as I used to and fancy a change of scenery to hopefully reignite things. This is a 2007 version with optional gold hardware, comes with original Warwick Rockbag and Warwick Owners Pack. The bass is in mint condition with no battle scars, I haven't even gigged it. Cost of this new is around £1200, so i'm looking for trade offers of instruments of similar quality/2nd hand value (£750). I'm open to offers on 4/5 strings - basically what have you ? I would however be willing to trade for a Fender Marcus Miller Jazz (Natural) with £200 thrown in (my way !), is that a fair deal ?
23. Good decision - selling it that cheap is never going to cheer you up !
