Why have I only just discovered Iron Maiden / Steve Harris??
'Arry is a god. If you're going to only listen to one Maiden album for the rest of your life (not that I suggest you do) then it'd have to be Live After Death - it's like a 'greatest hits' but with more background noise.
+ 1 to this. Steve Harris was my bass hero when I first started playing around '88 just as Seventh Son came out. Saw them for the first time that year at the NEC (as captured on the Maiden England DVD). Saw them on numerous occasions after that culminating with Download a couple of years ago when they played the Maiden England set again (give or take a couple of others thrown in). I was fortunate enough to meet him back stage and was like a tongue tied schoolboy. Also met Nicko and Dave Murray. All lovely guys. I finally got hold of a 2009 Blue Sparkle Steve Harris Signature P earlier this year and it's my go to bass. The feel of that chunky neck is marvellous. As others have said, if you're a newby to Mr Harris, Live After Death is the album to listen to 👍 -
Roll up people, this is a great deal for a stonking bass. I should know, I'm on my second after regretting selling my first one
Many thanks. It is a great bass but I'm just not playing it - I've had to admit that I have too many basses so one of them has got to go :-( All pms replied to re shipping. To confirm, I will now ship if buyer arranges courier i.e. I'll package the bass up, let you know the package size, approximate weight and collection address. Buyer arranges courier to satisfy his/her insurance requirements etc.

Set of used 0760m La Bella flats .052 .073 .095 .110 Acquired as part of a bundle of goodies in a recent bass purchase, these aren't my bag so I'm selling them on. They're cut for a precision and the silks are quite ragged. Not sure how old they are, they look pretty new but I'm not entirely sure. Cheers

Bought a lovely Classic 50's P from Kev. Great communication throughout, the bass was delivered quickly, packaged expertly and was great value given the additional goodies that were thrown in. Trade with confidence, top fella! Thanks again.
the classic 'smiley face' graphic EQ. I never use that sort of EQ, as all the mids just disappear and those are what's important when it comes to hearing the note value of the bass in a live situation.
The smiley face is Pre-Shape 1. Pre-Shape 2 is a different sound altogether with none of 'scoop'.

## Now £380 ## Hi all Well I've been singing the praises of these basses for a while on these pages but alas, I've recently gone back to basics with a new found love for all things 'P' so this beauty is going to have to go to make room. This bass really is in unmarked condition, plays like a dream with a lovely low action and sounds fat and thumping across the entire neck. Comes complete with the rarer than hens teeth original hard case and Epiphone leather strap. I'd love to be in the position to keep it, but I'm adhering to a strict 'one in, one out' regime [s]Trade wise I'd be looking for one of the following 4 strings, plus cash either way depending on the deal.[/s]

[s]Roger Waters P[/s]
[s]MIJ Fender P[/s]
[s]2013 onwards MIM Fender P[/s]
[s]Vintage Tony Butler Signature P (for pimping up)[/s]
[s]An already pimped P (Squier, Tokai etc)[/s]
[s]Any other 'interesting' P basses - no Jazzes or slim necks thanks[/s]
New photos now added Collection or meet up only I'm afraid, I'm in South Yorkshire but quite willing to travel for a shady services type handover

I'd recommend getting your hands on one of the 'smaller' Trace heads such as a 250 SMX. All the bells and whistles of the 350 etc (other than the UV light) but in a smaller, lighter package. I've paired mine with various Barefaced cabs and it always sounded great. Finally settled on a Super 12 - it sounds immense.
