  4. G&L tributes and the USA equivalent, I've had both and the tribs were better in both cases.

  10. The Harley Jazz bass was/is !20 quid and weighs more than me. Likewise the J&D I had. Probably pushing 11 lbs. Gear for music's P bass weighs about 7.5 lbs, I bought one.

  16. If you worry about weight you might want to be wary of some Farida Jazz basses, I had one that weighed 11lbs and I gather the Sire's can be a bit heavy too.. just sayin'...

  20. It's not bad but an acoustic bass is more than twice the depth, if you need unplugged then I would get an acoustic. (I'm a lousy salesman aren't I? )
