When I look at anything online I'm put off instantly by a grubby, covered in fingerprints and marks type bass. If it's not clean then it's a sign that no-one loves or cares for it IMO. Also grainy pics taken with a phone from about 5 yards away, you can't even tell what colour it is half the time. Ebay annoys me as well, half a line of text to sell a bass for £600 with a bad pic of it. Yes I'm picky but my gear is immaculate. I had a poor upbringing so I suppose I value what I've worked hard to buy.

That's interesting Michael. I have to say that I prefer my 2eq. I really like having a heavy bottom end which is why I've gravitated to a P bass. My settings are the same as yours. Good luck!

I was a shop owner until last october. The subject of pricing error came up in conversation one day las t year and I did some checking with Trading standards. Apparently if I listed say a strat for squier money and someone tried to take advantage of the situation they told me that I do NOT have to sell it at the wrong price. Two weeks later a guy came in and spotted a Yamaha apx 12 string that had been wrongly marked up for £199 (they are twice that) and said I'll have that!!! I said no, sorry the junior has marked it up wrong. He went rather ballistic and threatened me with T.Standards, police, FBI and his mother in law but I just said go ahead sir but you're not having it. He rang a week later and apologised for being wrong. TS told him he had no rights. Soooo.....

Ah but that's not the WN bass, that' looks like the grey coloured one with an alder body whereas mine is basswood or agathis?

I bought one about 2 months ago and they are light, punchy and excellent value for money. Don't understand the neck dive comment, mine doesn't...
