  1. I've got an Emma Electronics Discumbobulator, Iron Ether Xerograph, MuTron Micro Tron IV EHX Bassballs and MXR Phase 90 (i know not an envelope filter but...) my favoutire tones come from running the bassballs into the phase 90, i can just dial in the exact tone in my head in seconds, the distortion circuit really helps. I've also had the SA spectrum , whilst it sounded fantastic, it just had too much flexibility and i just ended up not able to dial anything in! It's worth looking at octave and fuzz/distortion pedals to go with them as that can be a match made in heaven.
  2. Still available
  3. Long overdue pictures now added! Come with the original box and power lead. There are 18 DC leads that i will include with this, which is all of the originals plus some extras that i've picked up along the way.
  4. Hey @MuddBass I'll take that looper off your hands if it's still available? Cheers Gregster
  5. I must admit I developed quite a taste in the month I've been here!
  6. Awesome, cheers Scrumpy Mike! Will there be Scrumpy cider on the buffet 🤣🤣
  7. Hi I've only just come across this thread, I'm only 30 min away and just moved to the area. Are there still spaces? Not sure I'll be able to bring any kit as a lot is still is storage (longish story!) Happy to Xfer the entrance fee a head of time. Thanks Gregster
  8. Only about 10 months old, in perfect condition with box and everything that came with it (Single cables of various lengths, daisy chains, voltage doubler cables and some extras) it's barely been used as all my bass gear had to go into storage whilst buying my new house (long story!) This thing could probably power a whatever you have and will most likely work with this, i'm redesigning my rig been from two boards to one and will need a larger power supply (I had two of these) so unfortunately i have to let this brilliant power supply go. Its been extremely well looked after! I will post photos tomorrow. Details can be found here - http://cioks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=39&Itemid=56 Price includes shipping to mainland UK
  9. Hey dude How's it going. Is the Zvex Mastotron still availble?
  10. Sushi box pedals are the bomb! I have the space heater which was the non DI version of the Finally, great at just adding some tube warmth to an amp too full blown all out overdrive. There is a really good thread on Talkbass which Nathan (mr Sushi Box) is very active, a lot of users get some great results tube rolling on these pedals, swapping out for lower gain 12A type tubes to widen that sweet spot.
  11. I would love to purchase this but unfortunately (for my bass playing at least!)! I'm buying a house and all my readies are going towards that atm.
  12. Maybe that is true, but this is a loud amp! I've A/B'd this with an Ampeg V4B, PF50T tru an SVT210AV and the V4B through an Ampeg B series 4x10, tonaly nothing between them, volume wise, if i switched cabs i think there is very little in it. This will totally blow away a 50 watt solid state amp, it keeps pretty good pace with my baby sumo 600w power amp. I use this with an SVT212SAV, firstly it sounds gorgeous, secondly it keeps up with a guitarist with 100w Marshall plus 4 x 12 and drummer, but the sounds be break up, if you want ti 100% clean it will be quieter. I cannot think of reason why i would sell mine it's a gorgeous amp. I'm tempted to put in a cheeky offer on the flight case! But someone is getting a bargain.
  13. I picked one of these up last month, these rarely come up 2nd hand and are even harder to get new! It's a bomb of a filter pedal.
  14. I had to find that video as soon as you mentioned it. @The Bucket i would love to buy this pre-amp but funds do not stretch even half that far atm
  15. These are are fantastic! I have the Morley Cliff Burton and i wish i had paid £80 for it!
  16. **** UPDATE*** Moving house next friday so really need to get rid of this asap! Happy to now post (at buyers expense) ****************************************************************************** Selling my Guitart stool as I'm moving house fairly soon and won't have space for it. It's in like new condition. Looking for £10 collected, I'm in Fleet just off the M3. It's this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stagg-MT-300-BK-Musicians-Throneith/dp/B005GQI2V2
  17. Two Notes Le Bass - £160 + £5 UK postage NOW SOLD Tube preamp with 2 channels, Clean channel A boost only broad EQ, Drive channel B 3 band cut and boost with sweepable mids. Channels can run separate, be cascaded or run parallel. Can be controlled via midi, built in cab sim, headphones out and DI out. Was less than a year old when i bought from another BCer in August this year and i've not gigged or used it at rehersal, Good condition with a couple of paint nicks. Comes with box and PSU. Tech 21 Sansamp Programmable Bass Driver £135 + £5 UK postage NOW SOLD This pedal is in great working order. There is some obvious cosmetic wear and tear. All knobs turn smoothly and without any crackles. All switches click perfectly. This is for the pedal and box only, no manual. Description from Tech 21 NYC… Always thinking of our fat-stringed brethren, we had to make a 3-channel, programmable, rig-in-a-box for bassists who can’t get enough of a great thing. Like the TRI-A.C. for guitar, you get three hot tones right at your toetips. The all-analog circuitry features the same controls as its single channel predecessor: Drive, Bass, Treble, Presence, Blend and Level. Digital only in its programmability, you just tweak the knobs until you find a tone, double-tap on a footswitch, and it’s saved in that channel. It’s that simple. Three of your faves — to go! ADDITIONAL FEATURES • Build your Bass Driver DI into a live rig with a Bass Power Engine 60, and run through the PA for extra power. • Boldly go live with just your Bass Driver DI straight into the PA. • Bounce into any studio with a Programmable Bass Driver DI and plug directly into the board. • While larger than our other SansAmp pedals, the Programmable Bass Driver DI still fits into a gig bag. Actual size: 7.25”L x 5.25”W x 2.25”H. • Even with its roadworthy all-metal construction, each unit weighs in at a mere 25oz. Both pedals sound excellent, I've used in front of both solid state and tube amps to great effect, I'm only letting these go as I've purchased a Sushi Box SVBT pedal and it's exaclty the tone i was after. Any questions, please ask
  18. I used to have this and one of their dual compressor pedals as i couldn't afford a Trace rig back in the day! Awesome pedal!
  19. just purchased Mike's Sushi Box SBVT pedal, It's amazing! Mike was super helpful, sent me a whole bunch of sound clips and the pedal arrived the day after i paid for it, well packaged and has been just grewat to deal with! Top, top bloke!
  20. Sell the children? it could fund the purchase and free up your time 🤣
  21. You know you want to!!
  22. 2nd this, sounds like SCR DI is they way to go. Basically an SVT in a DI box. My guitarist has one and I've used it enough live/rehersal and in the studio to be happy with it for a one box solution. I'd take it over the Ampeg pre all day long especially on the second hand market. I've recorded it side by side with my Ampeg PF50T (transformer DI) and it holds it's own agianst it. It's an ampeg DI box, so if that's the tone you are after then it's a great tool. There are plenty of other DI/Pres out that there that all ahve their merit but art differing price points.
  23. Hi Mate Where in the country are you located? Thanks Greg
  24. I might do some sound clips with Super P vs the MIA at some point. I've literally not picked up the Fender since i bought this!
  25. Yeah it's gonna take a little while to pay this off, then I go cab hunting!
