    A good point, can even be changeable over time or circumstances for one player too... I have always been a very trebly roundwound strings type sounding bloke, but on a couple of bands I did I went the complete opposite, a kind of very bassy dub type tone, as it just fitted infinitely better with the music on those occasions.

    If he pays a deposit using F&F there's no risk at all.. You could just laugh, walk away, and keep it, there's no come back or possible refund option he can persue (not that you would of course but just saying) I'd say OK, F&F deposit which is non returnable if you pull out of the sale and balance in cash on collection.

    Sounds like the blokes a dreamer to me, they simply won't sell unless he finds someone very naive.. I'd expect a very decent reduction from the new price for s/h stuff.
