  1. See you at the front...
  2. Always thought it was weird to tell your SO you love them because corporate greed told you to.
  3. I'm looking at getting a TC MojoMojo (anyone selling?) and would like to get an idea of how big the gain jump is from the Spark Booster to the Mojo. TLDR: How much more gain does the Mojo have over the Spark Booster?
  4. Update: Polytune 3 > Phat Phuk B > Beta Mk II > Blower Box V2
  5. Let me know when you have Parkinson's how well you can sing.
  6. Alan, Ian and Keith will now approve of your bass playing next time you turn up to gig at the Dog & Duck.
  7. Talk about throwing your toys out the pram! Sell it on here, buy the Spector, use the left over cash to go on a marketing course.
  8. I would go for the VT Bass DI.
  9. The 40th Anniversary Precision I have plays better than most Fender's I've tried. When I bought it, my intention was to buy a CS but this blew them out the water. Great basses.
  10. I can definitely back that statement. Fantastic basses.
  11. Member joined one month ago. Absolutely nothing wrong with Squier bass guitars.
  12. 60-120 is the minimum IMO.
  13. How are you getting on with this @stewblack?
  14. NOS Beta MkII.
  15. Dunlop Flatwounds 45-105 gauge with six months of usage. Cut for a Fender style headstock. £35 posted.
  16. My ampless setup is an Xotic Bass RC Booster into a Radial ProDI. I do have the BDI21 but have never used it live.
  17. I'll never understand why people still 5h!t on the Chinese manufacturing process. Most of the electronics you use are now Chinese made. Sure, this is borderline copyright infringement but if you're a player just starting out or someone put off by vastly inflated prices, this is the 'Tone Hammer' for you. Look at the BDI21 - it has plenty of fans and is still being produced.
  18. Let us know how you get on. The BDI21 is a decent pedal but I've never used the DI out in a live situation.
  19. Does it take a 9V input? What frustrated me about the original was the 12v adapter required.
  20. I believe the term is 'homage'.
  21. What was in the bass before?
  22. I would suggest a different pickup.
  23. Cort, Aria, G&L Tribute will all serve you well.
  24. I have CS62 pups on my US Jazz and I can't complain. Sounds fantastic.
  25. If you like Thomastik flats, the La Bella LTF are very similar. I will say the La Bella's definitely have more of a traditional flatwound tone compared to TIs.
