    I don't want to target you or other individuals who have created threads like these but why do you need to 'announce' you are quitting bass? Is this some new phenomenon in the social media age with big announcements over everything that someone decides?

    Two EQs during a show. One is FOH and one is on stage. Putting the RC before the DI out can help control and get a better EQ out front. The amp on stage can be used to sort EQ levels... on stage.

    DR strings last a long time from my experience. Did you kink the string when installing? Cutting a roundcore string straight will kill it.

    40th Anniversary if you can find one. I had a Chinese Squier and it's far superior to that. IMHO.

    Urgh. SWR and Genz Benz were ruined by Fender - really hope G&L doesn't go the same way.

    Yes. You could just set the chat to ignore. Leaving the conversation seems childish. If he has issues but can't talk then that's his problem.

    Fired a guitarist for missing a gig and then a studio session. He threatened legal action if we used his songs live or used them to promote ourselves. I ended up quitting said band 18 months later once I realised that the drive from the others was not there and they had no desire to gig. They booked a studio session a month later and recorded and released a song that I wrote... didn't threaten them with legal action, did I?! The whole band split another month after that.

    Should be pretty close. The action will have to come up slightly for the TIs at the very least.
