1. Hello, Selling my Boss ME50b pedal board as it's sat gathering dust, not doing a lot of band work at the moment so it doesn't get used! The pedal itself has cosmetic scratches, but works 100%. Official Boss power supply will be included, these have to be bought separately when purchasing as new. £100 is the asking price, but I will also consider offers. No box or manual, however manual can be obtained online, and the pedal is pretty straight forward tbh. Collection from Brighton/Hove area, can ship but costs will be added on top. Any questions PM, cheers!
2. Hello all! I have my very lovely Status S2 5 string (black hardware, bolt on) bass up for swapsies, as I've been borrowing a friends 6 string and I've very much taken to it. Soooo now I want to take the plung and get a decent 6 string. I absolutely love my Status and I also use a Spector NS 5 so anything similar to these pair would be perfect. Cash is also except able, I bought the Status (Stacey as she's known) for £1000 off here, so I'd be looking for the same amount. I will add pictures soon, the bass has a few dings but works and plays like a dream (as any Statii player will know). But please someone find me a 6 string, I REALLY WOULD LIKE ONE. Cheers!
3. Chorus has gone, found myself a lovely compressor now so it's just cash sales please
4. How good is the compressor? I know that's an idiots question but basically I do ALOT of slap n tap in my band, and need something to even my sound out. I use a Markbass 4x10 with a matching head, just wanted an honest answer really
5. How much for all three? I might be missing something.......
6. Digitech Synth wah has gone, still more lovely pedals to pick up
7. Hi all, Having a clearout, so need to shift some gear me thinks! Digitech Bass Squeeze (Dual band compressor) £25 [s]Digitech Bass Synth Wah (Envelope filter) £30[/s] [s]Boss Bass Chorus (CEB-3) £30[/s] Boss Dynamic Wah (AW-3, Guitar AND Bass inputs) £45 Boss ME50b (comes with official Boss power supply) £120 All have slight wear as they have been travelling with me on various gigs, but all work perfectly. I'd prefer collection, but can post (slight charges added due to weight of pedals). Prices aren't set in stone, but that's what I've valued them as compared to their retail prices. Would consider trade for the Me50 with a decent compressor, could really do with one! Cheers!
8. Very nice mate, always fancied a 6 stringer, and I know statii are THE bass. Good luck with the sale
9. Hey that is a sexy looking bass, but I'm afraid I'm definately not man enough to tackle a fretless!
10. Hi there! I'm in a tech metal band called Once a Wolf, and we've just got round to finishing our first recorded track This band has taken a while to complete due to drummers leavung/no vocalist so I'm very stoked we're all moving forward, but I'd really like you guys n girls to let me know what you think, your all musicians so I value your opinion Link is below, sadly myspace quality isn't great, but all criticism is welcomed! Follow me! Cheers! Sammy
11. *bump* Still up for sale or trade!!!! She really is a beautiful bass, just needs another string
12. Damn I wish I had £400.......nice bass mate, have a bump
13. sh*t, if this was fretted I'd swoop that away! THIS IS AN ULTIMATE STEAL! Best of luck with the sale
14. Chris is a good lad, and I must say the bass is actually REALLY nice. Bump bump.
15. Hi kids! Basically this is more of an update, I had this girl on straight sale earlier last year and is a bit pricey to shift, so I'd still be after a straight sale OR am after a 5 string Spector (NS most likely) or 5 string Status. I just can't deal with 4 strings anymore sadly The specs; Status Kingbass Artist Through neck 32" scale (due to bendwell) 24 frets Blue front leds Gold hardware 16.5mm spacing I'm not entirely sure what wood it is, but I'm sure if Craig (basswesty) pops along he will remind me! She was up for £1650 (£2300+ new) but I've added a small ding into the side of the laquer on the bass, which accompanies some tiny cracks in the laquer on the body. I will add pics of this, but I've decided to put her down to £1500, but I'm open to offers. Cheers!
16. Gary came all the way to B town to pick up my lovely Spector. Great guy, very friendly and just overly cool as Well recommended, glad she went to the King of Spector
17. Hey, I recently bought Shockwave's S2 bolt on, same hardware just minus the leds, and I payed £950 for that. So anything over that I'd say Wish mine had leds. Got em in the Kingbass, but the S2 has magically stole my heart I always fancied your Status. So pretty. Good luck with the sale
18. Bump for a good man I'll be going round to have a play with this hopefully, and really make a mess of fretless playing. Whoop. If this is anything like your p bass (same make) then this a gotta be a beauty. You crazy boy.
19. I really am well impressed by both of these vids man. And as I'm pretty sure I commented on how good your band's album is too man I really like solo bass stuff like this. And you pull it off so well. Kudos sir.
20.
Still, Drop-B or C# standard or whatever eare is fine. But do bassists really need "Drop" tuning? As we don't barre power chords it's really better standard surely?
I completely agreed with you there until recently.....bought a 5 string to play with for the band......we only have a couple of drop tuned songs, but trying to play them in standard on a 5 proved a hell of a lot harder than playing it in drop tuning. So I still agree with you, but when your trying to follow your guitarists lightning fast drop tuned riffs it's just easier to tune drop tune
21.
Do you know any rich dancers/artists/phtographers/or P.E. teachers. You seem to be more of an positive thinker than me. Best of luck.
Depends what you mean by rich. I'd rather earn a little or standard wage and do something I love then be rolling in it. But that's me. Everyone's different. Thanks for your best wishes, there's a lot worse you can do than think positively.
22.
Dont do music at university, the chances of you making any decent money out of it are about as slim as you winning the lottery. Get a trade you can always fall back on this and you will usually make enough money to buy all the music stuff you want, besides if you are really interested in music and music technology you can learn all you want to know from books/magazines/internet.
Don't see why you shouldn't personally. That's as good as saying 'don't take art/dance/sports/photography'. Be an exciting place to be then aye. Out of curiosity, where in your mind does a 'hobby' end and a 'career' begin?
