1.
EDIT - Pics added, hope Craig doesn't mind me re-using his pics, he did a sterling job! Sam, I can't believe you're letting this go. No probs using the pics and good luck getting what you want. I can confirm that this is a beast of a bass and very very nice to play.
Hey Craig! Tbh I doubt it's going anywhere, as I said this is my fav bass ever, the string spacing is just getting to me. I would only trade it for another kingbass, so if no one wants to trade I'll be keeping her, which is no great shame. Hope all is good mate.
2.
How did you go on with the guy over on statii?
Hi Rich! I must personally thank you for my joining of that site......all the times you mention it I thought I should try! He seems pretty keen, although his has side leds that he would like the bass he traded for to have......(unless it's a particularly nice kingbass) Just sent him the pics, see what he thinks, then he will do the same. He needs to send the bass back to Rob for some repair, apparently the led on the 21st fret had died lol. Also he is ireland, which is hassle but if it would make both our bass playing lives happier I'm willing to comply!!! As I said I love this bass, but more and more I'm realising I'm clashing other strings, where as my playing on my spector euro is much tidier. I'll keep you posted
3. Hi all I have a Status Kingbass artist, it's my favourite bass ever. APART. FROM. 16.5mm. SPACING. I can't get on with this spacing.......so I was wondering if anyone had a 19mm Kingbass artist they wanted to swap for, incase they are wanting smaller spacing. I know it's a strange request, but I love everything else about this bass, and I couldn't afford to sell this then put the extra to it because of the string spacing. Mine has 32" scale (due to bendwell), blue front leds. Bass is immaculate. Pic's can be supplied if needed I won't be suprised if I have no replies, but I though I'd try OH and would prefer a kingbass with leds please, I love mine EDIT - Pics added, hope Craig doesn't mind me re-using his pics, he did a sterling job! Cheers!

7. Thank you all for your help I suppose if I'm looking to spend such money on a bass I could give GB a try......before I moved to Brighton I fell in love with how sexy they are ........But I already own a Kingbass artist and IMO it's the best bass I've ever heard/played(especially!) and I actually really think it's a pretty bass. A 5 string black beauty with black hardware and white leds.............. Oh dear I've gone faint
8. Hi all, came across a price list for the statii basses some time ago but for the love of god can't find it again.........just wondering if anyone knew where to find it/knew what sort of price I'd be looking at? I know what my dream bass is, I just have to discover the horrible reality of how much it will cost Thanks all
9. That looks awesome! Have a bump from Mr Bump
10. Noooooooooooooooo this would be perfect alongside my markbass 4x10! If I had the cash I would certainly pick that up, pure bargain. Have a mark bassy bump

13.
We need players like Wooten. He pushes the envelope of what's possible on the instrument. And this in turn inspires us to become better bass players. Otherwise we all might as well just play 12 bar, 3 chord tricks in pubs for the rest of our lives.
+1 I couldn't agree more, you will find generally the kind of people that hate Wooten are the people that CAN'T do his technique. He, like many famous players has just expanded on a technique, which he is VERY good at. The world of bass would be alot more boring without player's who stepped up and said 'Hey, look what I can do'. Like him or not, he is highly talented, and a massive influence on the world of current and upcoming bass players. Guess it'll be Mark King next aye
14. Hi kids, saw Mr Russ gig this a couple of months ago, it's an absolute beauty in tone and looks! If I had the money I'd swipe this off you sir Good luck with the sale!
15. Started trading with a few people now, I'm sure I can take the feedback
16. Only just noticed this section, otherwise would of posted ages ago! Traded my lakland with Craig for his beautiful Status, and must he is a top bloke, and a damn good player too! Live's in my hometown so a bit of softness goes there Really good guy to deal with!
17. 1) Functions band (Called Cover Up, oh yeah) 2) Jazz band (Iris and the wolves) 3) Tech/Prog Metal band (Once a wolf) Ironically the two band names were chance, not some wolf conspiracy.......
18. Thanks for all the advice guys! My mate builds basses so I'm gonna let him see if it's just a simple wiring issue, if not, I'll give Rob a bell. Cheers lads!
19.
Have you checked your cables.... first thing to do....
Would be a beginner's error but one I make all the time I have yes, my spector has no problem through the same set up....... Oh dear
20. Hi there! I have a Status Kingbass Artist that I love to death, but recently she's been cutting out and making a fuzz sound when you first plug her in, continues randomly after that. I though although I had replaced the batteries a week ago it could be them, so I've replaced them again, but STILL she is doing it I'm gutted as I'm playing a functions gig Sat and was hoping to use her, but I don't know whether it's something very serious or not so don't want to risk it. Does anyone know what it could be that's causing this? I live in Brighton so the local GAK is a stroll down the road.....but do I really want to trust them with this bass? Any advice would be appreciated! (Expect MB1 or Outtoplayjazz ) Cheers!
21. Hi there! I live in Brighton, deep in the city centre And I will split, I just thought they complimented each other! Split would be £50 each. Cheers!
22. Hi all! Up for grabs is my lovely Fender Jaguar, she doesn't get played anymore and I'd rather move her on to someone who will She's been my main gigging bass for the last 2 years (until I bought my spector ) Got some buckle rash on the back(pics provided), and I will happily remove all the stickers (scratchplate and one on body) Will put a new set of 40's on her, doesn't have a case or gig bag so collection is prefered, delivery is an option but will add more to price. Hope someone will give her a good home Cheers! Sam
