It's a shame there's no free trial outside the US. I don't care either way about the Young/Rogan thing but the sound quality sucks and the music suggestion features blow so I might just give it a bash.

I played in a band with a guitarist who only had 4 strings on his 6 strat. His bridge rattled but I don't think the bridge was at fault -
Kid Rock did put out a song (All summer long) with a solo in the wrong key though so that might make him worse. They're free to love Trump if they want. Let's just judge them on their music instead, there's enough there to dislike.

I've been enjoying some classic stoner metal this evening. Welcome To Sky Valley by Kyuss. Scott Reeder's bass with Brant Bjork's drums is one of the most perfect rhythm sections in metal.

Tim Commerford got some great dirty sounds with a Stingray, mostly an Ampeg with the gain cranked. Rex Brown used a Stingray with Kill Devil Hill and got great dirty sounds. Trent Reznor used Stingrays on the first couple NIN records with plenty of dirt and I've seen him use one live with fuzz.

Because I prefer playing Stingray and when I turn off the dirt, the Stingray cuts through much better. Different sounds for different songs.

A wall of sound is exactly what we're going for. Where we do leave space, it's generally long, sustained notes with lots of distortion.

I know Stingrays can sound pretty good with lots of dirt so it will work when I pair it with the right pedal. The fuzz I've got at the moment is really disgusting and doesn't like any clank from the bass which is why it works with the Thunderbird.
