Ditto, I have just fitted a set on my beloved Dolphin, and they work extremely well. Would recommend this to you as I was in the same boat recently, Fretfx are good to deal with and it is a doddle to fit and they are very subtle and work a treat. I didn't fancy someone butchering my gorgeous Warwick neck, and this was a great solution. If I remember correctly the kit cost me around 70 quid and took a couple of weeks to arrive. I have just acquired another Dolphin bass, and the previous owner had fitted a set on it, result. If you have any questions about them, let me know Cheers Stuart -
Had a great gig at one of our local music pubs, we had a great crowd, we had a killer sound and everyone had a good time, we ended up playing three sets, and all this with a sprained wrist!

Cheers guys, i am taking ibuprofen and using a cryogenic paste on the area, al seems to be helping, but i know i am going to struggle on the night! And in answer to an earlier question I am right handed. Cheers all

Hi guys, I have a gig on saturday and my left hand is killing me, I haven't a clue what I have done to do it, it appears to be at the base of the thumb, and it is excrutiating to play, anyone got any ideas? Cheers Stuart

I am sorry to report that a fellow bass player Big Ed AKA Wigfindergeneral has died. I was informed this morning that he passed away. He was a top guy and will be missed by all those that knew him. Our thoughts go out to his family.

by the tuner, just took tuner off, seems a little sharp around the aperture, just filing it down as we speak...

So, i get my new stagg eub, tune up, G string snaps, so eventually i find another one, tune up, snaps again, get another, and you'll never guess what? yup, snaps again, it won't tune to G at all, gets to E little bit farther...snap. Now guys, what am i missing here? Am i doomed to have a 3 string upright? HELPPPP!

Well it arrived today, looks and feels great, so i tune it up and PING the G strings snaps..... So, where do i get replacement strings for these things, I have emailed Normans who I bought it from, but in the meantime, I would like to get some strings for spare. Cheers all
