1. and me, I have one of these, super comfortable to play, great tone, incredible value for money.
2. I have a feeling this is my old one? either way these are great instruments.
3. Bump.....but after playing this last night I may well be keeping it!
4. Withdrawn, way , way too good, played it a sound check earlier, superb sound, plays like butter, would be mad to sell it so cheap or at all! Hi All, Got this of this very forum from Kev, it is a stunning neck through Thumb 5 from 2000. It has beautiful Bubinga Pomele body with lovely Ovangkol/Bubinga neck. And a Wenge fingerboard. This one weighs in at 4.4kg as well - Yes, less than 10lb for a Thumb, it is a truly beautiful instrument and growls like a Thumb should, This is not to be confused with the bolt on, this retails at around £4400.00 and it won't have all the nice woods this has! I have priced this sensibly to sell at £1250.00 and it will include a case.
5. Yamaha RBX? http://i1180.photobu...00/IMGP1813.jpg I have this bass! great colour too!
6. Hi, Weight is a surprising 8lbs ish, it looks like it should be heavier, but it is a comfortable weight. I am of course willing to post using an insured courier, I would be prepared to throw in a case to keep it safe, and the courier to mainland UK would be £25. So, bass and case and courier = £600 all in!

8. I know, they are lovely instruments,so much better than similar shaped basses....imho
9. Hi All, I got this fantastic bass recently in a trade on this very forum, and it is a stunning instrument, but just not for me, I am too in love with my Warwicks! These are incredible quality with some really top end fittings and fixtures, check out the reviews on them. This is in immaculate condition except for a tiny ding on the back (shown in the pictures) and the photographs don't do it justice. These are £1100 new, best street price is around £845 (Bass direct) so I have priced this at a very sensible rate to fellow basschatters. 10. Hi All, I have my trusty Markbass 102HF 2 x 10" Cab for sale, it is the 8 Ohm variant and is an awesome cab, complete with Roqsolid cover. Will post pics later. Cheers Stuart
11. Hi Jellyfish, yes the Dingwall is more extreme in the fan fretting department, I think Ibanez picked a middle road and it has made it an easy transition to play, they are really good instruments.
12. Chris is a top guy to deal with, nice smooth transaction, a credit to basschat!
13. Hi All, I acquired this fantastic bass in a trade recently and it is so much fun to play but I don't see myself gigging it too much so I am putting it up for sale here. It is in excellent condition and has recently been restrung and set up by Nilam Music. https://www.anderton...n-black-stained The bass is in the foreground (obvs) and as you can see is in fab condition. Strangely is an easy transition from a 5 to a 6, like I say a lot of fun and some really high end frills to this instrument. Yours for £650.00 Cheers Stuart
14. Congratulations you two! great pics,
15. When I say one I mean two, because they have three! (strap buttons) read it back made it look like Chris could balance the bass on one strap button, rambling now...
16. I got this fantastic bass recently from Chris (dyerseve) and it is gorgeous and sounds wonderful but I am too much into my Thumb at the moment and Warwicks generally and I don't want this sitting in the rack forlornly looking at the Thumb being taken out to gigs! It is a lovely instrument with a top upgrade of the Aguilar OBP3 and the pictures really don't do it justice. It is this one (hope this OK Chris to use your thread) http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry3319438 A few extra pics: I have added the missing schaller strap button (Chris only used the one) and waxed it within an inch of its life! A really tasty bass for a silly price! £600 plus postage
