  2. As I do not have any luck finding a BB1200s anywhere, does anyone want to part with a BBP34 in midnight blue (I think it would complement my BB1200)? If yes, then please let me know. Cheers.
  3. It's been on Reverb for 10 months, so, yes, a deal could probably be made, I guess. Just wonder why no one is buying it. Is it the age, the colour, the pickups, the price? It is definitely rare (only made in 85) and apparently based on a signature bass prototype for the one and only Louis Johnson. Unfortunately, the signature bass never happened. The prototype can be seen in action here (check from 20:55)
  4. Well, never mind, the bass has sold. Not on Andy Baxter's website anymore. So, has any of you bought it? If yes, thank you! ๐Ÿ˜
  5. Thanks, by chunky I mean a more rounded profile. The Euros I mentioned (LT and Ras Layer) had such a neck profile. I like the more flatter/thinner/less round/slimmer (back to front) profiles like on my Fortes and NS-2 (thin neck specs). As it is difficult to describe neck shapes, I guess I have to take the train to Leeds and try it out myself. Won't happen before June/July, so let's see if it's still available then.
  6. Thanks, @PaulhauserI've sent Andy an email, asking him about the neck shape. Let's see what he says. In the past, I bought a Euro 4LT (with Fishman Fluence Pickups) and a Euro 4LX Ras Layer signature bass, both unseen, both had chunky necks and both are not with me anymore.
  7. Wow. Another stunning looking Stingray for a very fair price too ๐Ÿคฉ GLWTS ๐Ÿ‘
  8. BTW, 1.5 years ago, the identical twin brother/sister of this bass (NB2637 instead of NB2636) was on sale here. Was already very tempted back then:
  9. Thanks. I did not check all photos. There are so many. Yes, 1st version of the TP by the look of it. Does anyone know about the neck profile (front to back) of a Euro from that time period? Chunky like most Euros (not for me) or slimmer (more like the Ian Hill)?
  10. "buying is the new selling" - I like that one more than my mantra. Maybe I should give it a try ๐Ÿ˜‰ Yes, you are right, solid maple wings, even more tempted now. Does it have the TonePump? I cannot see the control cavity. Maybe it has the Aguilar OBP-1 that they used between 01 and 03. The first version of the Tonepump started in 03 but I don't now if there was a transition period (i.e., they switched to the TP sometime during 03). It is a bit heavy though (4.37kg), although I am only playing sitting down anyway. Man, I am tempted ๐Ÿ˜
  11. Spector fans, here is a very nice 2003 Spector Euro in Amber. Excellent condition and a good price too. Can someone please buy it before I break my "selling is the new buying" mantra? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Here is the link (not my bass and no affiliation): https://www.andybaxterbass.com/collections/bass-guitars/products/2003-spector-euro-4-amber
  12. Great multi effects pedal for a great price. New these go for ยฃ479 now! https://www.andertons.co.uk/zoom-b6-bass-multi-effects-pedal Very tempted ๐Ÿ˜ GLWTS ๐Ÿ‘
  13. BB Fans! I recently got a 78 Yamaha BB1200. Great bass. Now, I would like to add a BB1200s in red to it. Preferably in good and original condition. Anyone thinking of parting with one or where I can find one? I also put a post in the "wanted items" thread. Cheers!

  15. No Spector and unfortunately no 20th anniversary EBMM Bongo either ๐Ÿ˜ž
  16. To cut a long story short (my song reference of the day ;- ), here is a link to a thread (20 pages!) showing "every bass" at NAMM 2023. Enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Ž https://www.talkbass.com/threads/wintremute-s-namm-2023-every-bass-thread.1603651/
  17. Dan bought my Fender P today. The whole transaction was super fast. Dan even drove over on a Sunday afternoon to test the bass and pay me immediately. Pretty much a perfect sales transaction. Thanks again, Dan. Cool stuff. Hope you will enjoy your new P ๐Ÿ‘
  18. C'mon guys, what happening? No interest in a cool MIA Fender with great upgrades? I have seen MIJ basses going for more. Maybe you are thinking "the price is too low, there must be something wrong" or "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true." Well, there is nothing wrong with the bass but maybe the price is indeed wrong. I have therefore decided to change it to ยฃ999. There you go, happy now? ๐Ÿ˜‰
  19. How is your Easter? Hope you are having a great time. In case you are still looking for a last minute Easter gift, my lovely Fender P is still available ๐Ÿ™‚ The great Italian philosopher, Rocky Balboa, once said that "Ain't Nothin' Over 'Til It's Over" but in this case, my Easter sale will be over very soon, in 4 hours actually - 23:59. So, time's running out ๐Ÿ˜‰
  20. Would make sense as Rio was released in 82, so it makes sense to limit the Rio bass to 82 pieces. There is no 82 connection to the other finishes.
  21. C'mon guys, how can this beauty still be available? Hope someone buys it soon before I convince myself that I can learn playing 5 string basses. Already looking for a book for self study ๐Ÿ˜‰
  22. @Gramskirecently bought my Aftershock bass distortion pedal. The whole transaction was super smooth and I received payment literally within a minute. Very impressive๐Ÿ‘ Thank you Graham. Hope you will enjoy your new pedal!
