1. Thanks Hooch! Some soundclips here : https://soundcloud.com/thebutton/sets/jbnav
2. Hi All, I have to let this go to raise some money, so it is for sale only: Vigier Passion IV 5 strings in mint codition incl. Vigier (hiscox) case. This is truly a world class instrument. As it is "natural", the woods has been carefully selected to have the best wood figuring available with gloss finish, as you can see in pictures below. Premium quality woods : * Alder body with Flamed Maple front & back * Flamed Maple neck with Phenowood (wood with pores filled with resin) fingerboard ...with premium quality components : * Vigier pickups (made by Delano) * Glockenklang 18V electronics * Schaller tuners * Monorail bridge (new models have the big, heavier one) It is a great instrument, sound is quite well balanced and far away from the previous Vigier "trebly" series III : more growly, fingertsyle & slap sound nice on this one. This is due to the evolutions you have on this model : bolt-on neck increases dynamics & punch, while new pickups & electroncis provide a more natural sound fully adjustable. I was able to detune it in drop A without changing string gauges: no fret noise, thight A, strong fundamental with -as requested- nice mids and pleasant treble. High output level, no hum at all. No neck adjustment hassle (90/10 system). Weight is 3,9kg/8,6lbs according to Vigier website. Just put it out of the case & play. The same model brand new would actually cost a kidney (or a liver, your choice), again, this one is in mint condition. No trades, thanks. Price includes shipping in EU. Collection can be arranged in Paris area. Please find my feedback thread here http://basschat.co.u...-for-vicmackey/ Thanks for looking.
3. Hi All, I have to let this go to raise some money, so it is for sale only : Made in Japan ESP Navigator N-JB-400-LTD, circa 2009 coming with Navigator case & factory paperwork. Navigators are high-end basses from ESP Custom Shop : Woods are carefully selected and finish is full nitro (quite fragile but makes the wood breathe). ESP people are hand crafting basses and are pushing the details further than the originals. More info http://www.guitarsja...SPinfopage.html This one is a 70s model, meaning : * Swamp Ash body, * 1 piece Maple neck with black blocks & binding, * Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pickups. ESP recently changed the name of this model but this one has exactly the same specs listed on their website http://www.espguitar...tor/njbasm.html This bass sounds awesome, I mean, I was not a fan of full maple necks before, and despite this, this one is currently my main bass. Of course, it has the 70s JB sound you can expect from such instrument, due to 70s pickups position, but not only. Sound range is quite large, and this one allows me sounding right whatever the kind of music. It also can have a kind of PB sounding on the neck pickup. Low action makes playing really easy, and a beautiful growl appears while attack is stronger. Weight is 3,9kg. Just plug it and play. As shown in the attached pictures, this bass is in quite good condition, neck is straight with low action, and fully adjustable if required. There are 2 minor dings below the body as shown in pictures. As I said above nitro finish is really nice but fragile. Cover and case included are in good condition too. I own several high end basses and honestly this is one of the best basses i currently have. No trades, thanks. Price includes shipping in EU. Collection can be arranged in Paris area. Please find my feedback thread here http://basschat.co.u...-for-vicmackey/ Thanks for looking.

10. Hi there, I know this maybe not the right place to post, but as a bass player this is relevant for me and maybe you guys know someone who can be interested in this. We started with Heitham Al Sayed as a singer but unfortunately Heitham had already 2 bands (Senser and Fiend) then he had not so much time to play with us. Then we tried 2 others guys. We lost the last one since he quit without prior notice. We're looking for a singer. We have real difficulties to find someone who can speak english properly. Ou band is called In The Guise Of Men : Web site with music http://www.intheguiseofmen.com/ Facebook https://www.facebook.com/InTheGuiseOfMen Bigcartel http://intheguiseofmen.bigcartel.com/ Fact is : We have a label called Send The Wood Music http://www.sendthewo...he-guise-of-men Our first EP Ink is now distributed by Season Of Mist http://e-shop.season...igisleeve/36797 And it's on iTunes, etc. We did approx 20 shows last year (see FB), and we plan to do a uk tour in May 2014, with Nazgul Agency here in UK http://www.nazgulage...ment/4577052509 We're looking for someone like Grep Puciato as the music we do is inspired by bands such as Dillinger, Meshuggah, Mastodon, Tool etc. If you know someone you can be interested, please feel free to foward this and contact me through PM. Thanks a lot for reading.
11. Just awesome... As previously said, this is THE bass! Wish i could afford this one day! Good luck with the sale Terry!
12. Thanks a lot for all the info ! Another question, I don't know if it has been already submitted but : is there a significant difference when number of drivers is increased ? I mean 3 drivers seems OK, why 5 drivers, dual bass, etc ? What's the most efficient configuration for live performance you would recommend ? BTW I checked out the brands you mentionned, selected the models I was interested in, and tried to find the prices, it seems they're all in the same price range now compared to the ACS : http://www.handheldaudio.co.uk/Custom-Ear-Monitors-Custom-Ears/b/2874895031?ie=UTF8&title=Custom+Ear+Monitors&field_brandtextbin=&field_subjectbin=&field_price=&searchRank=title-asc-rank&searchSize=12&searchPage=1&searchBinNameList=brandtextbin%2Csubjectbin%2Cprice Sorry to burden you with this and thanks again!
13. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate! Fact is, I played once on a very large stage. First, the wire going from the bass to the pedalboard discońnected as I was going too far from my area. I hope I ll play on this kind of stage once again. And the idea comes from the Guitar player to go wireless as he frequently has the same issue as he is moving a lot on stage, large or small. Second, believe it or not, we had a very bad sound on this large stage. We try to bring our own sound guy with us at each gig but he is not always available. He was not there this time. So sometimes we have a bad sound on stage, despite the fact sound is good for the audience. I mean I sometimes don't hear what the Guitar is playing, kick is muddy, bass notes are not clear and so on. So we also though it was time to have IEM. Why being wired with IEM while you'd like to be wireless with your instrument? If we go wired we'll still have the disconnection issue. But I perfectly understand your point, going wired is the best solution regarding the price, the latency, the hassle on stage, the overall sound quality.
14. Hi there, Newbie in the IEM world have questions about IEM wireless systems for you the experts ! I understood the IEM part is the most important part. So for those who bought ACS IEM, T1 Live or T1 seem to be a great choice. Did you make your ACS IEM custom with molding it to your ears ? Or ACS is selling top of line IEM as standard without molding ? Another point is I cannot make a decision about the frequency range for the IEM wireless systems. Wireless systems like the Shure PSM900 or Sennheiser EW 300 IEM G3 seem to become obsolete as frequencies are used or reserved through time for other applications. How make a decision about a wireless system according to the frequency range ? This would be a shame a 1 Grand IEM wireless systems would be not usable after a few years only. Last but not least : AKG released the IVM 4500 wireless system in 2012, as Shure released PSM 900 in 2011 and Sennheiser EW 300 IEM G3 in 2009. The're all in the same price range. Shure PSM 900 seems to be a winner... but why buying an 2 or 3 years old product when the newest seems to be the better as transmitting sound through wireless required the best technology available ? Thanks a lot,
15. Hi there, Shipping to France available? Cheers.
16. I'd love to have this V6 ! EU shipping available ? Good luck for the sale !
