Stunning!! You're right about shipping: such an instrument must be played before being bought. I always want to try and see a vintage bass before buying it, to check things as much as possible. I don't know how it can be other way... plus the insurance thing... only professionals can send such valuable instruments. Back to the bass, here just with the pictures I can see this is a lovely bass, no comparison between pre-CBS and after... seriously !!
