Collecting Dust - Recycling - Basschat Small pots with desiccant in the lid, ideal for collecting wood dust. Or small screws, or little beetles, or whatever. Don't want them to just go to landfill so advertised in the free recycling thread.

I have 32 of these small pots, ideal for collecting dust in. If you think that's ridiculous then you should probably spend more time in the build diaries thread! They are about the same size as 35mm film canisters, maybe a little smaller, but the cap has a dessicant in to help keep the contents dry. They are the canisters that blood test strips for diabetics come in, and I get through a pot of 50 in about 12 days. I'll post them in batches of eight, as they are too thick to post as letters so will have to go as small parcel, and it's not worth posting ones or twos. PM me if interested, and if you miss out then more will be along soon.

We're shipping IT kit to people's homes, so I've unexpectedly had to look up places like Santa Cruz, Fremont, Palo Alto, Cabalo. I live near Birmingham in the UK, so SF all seems very exotic.

This has probably been answered elsewhere, but how do you care for and polish a bass finished with Tru-oil? It's not like a hard varnish, so do you just clean with a soft cloth? Use occasional guitar polish? Do you have to reapply the oil every few years?

You don't regard that as serious?

One twelve-year-old, absolutely fine with me and I'll probably learn some technique. One twelve- or eighteen-month-old, also fine and I'll teach them to say "Four strings good, five strings better" Twelve eighteen-month-old kids, maybe less keen on that.. 😅

On any scale of workmanship, linear or log, Andy will be so far to the right you need another piece of paper.

I won't be rehearsing any time soon as I'm needed for either sound desk or livestream duties. But I am hoping to have a bash with a mate on Friday evening. First time playing with someone else since Covid, so will be taking February's purchase.😀

I've never heard of Mamoth WVH, but just checked the album out on Spotify, on my phone. Two things struck me: excellent album cover, the sort you would be excited to walk out of the shop with, hoping the music would be good too; 10s of the first track says there is no point in playing this on the phone so I'll have to get up and play it properly loud.
