  1. Many things not right with this for a mid 70s precision as above , also black screws on the pickguard and it looks like the bridge has a curve to the top so not an original bridge , I’d stay clear of this one
  2. That’s very cool, are you a bass player too Jr
  3. Thanks for that, I like a bit of Motown I’ll check it out
  4. Great playing and a great bass Nick , GLWYS
  5. Been going through a lot of Gregory Isaacs lately , this is from the poor man in love EP, Robbie Shakespeare’s playing on this is just so good
  6. Yeah, neck stamp, pots and pickup pictures are standard practice really
  7. It would need to be taken apart to verify it and if the seller isn’t willing to do that or let the buyer do it then I wouldn’t bother even looking
  8. I’m not sure myself either mr B, I think It’s hard to tell with the info and pictures that’s been given , be worth going and having a good look if it was local and seeing if he would let you check out the date stamps
  9. I asked for pictures of the dates and neck stamp when it was first listed and got the reply, sorry no pics of the stamp but it’s genuine, if you’re selling a 62 precision imo you need to make more of an effort if you want to get a good price
  10. Love that, the guy can groove
  11. Looking great, they do play nice with a jazz neck don’t they
  12. Very nice Lozz, and flats already fitted, congrats
  13. Thanks very much for this Steve, yeah the P bass does sound really good though the V4B, good to know it works well and sounds great, cheers

    Hi !

    Welcome hpc
  15. A sunburst 73 I believe, wonderful player
  16. The ones I’ve had experience with and my 71P are 40mm nut and slim from front to back, I’d say probably very slightly deeper than my jazzes, very comfortable indeed
  17. I’ve always liked the noble and like hearing what people think of them, I haven’t got around to getting one yet, do you use yours through an amp piers, if so can I ask which one
  18. That’s kinda what I was thinking pete , might be best I don’t try one as I can see this costing me a lot of money 😁
  19. Hi Rob, if you want to have a read this is what I use sometimes, at the top click on cases , custom colours is good too http://www.guitarhq.com/fender.html#serial
  20. The fourth one down has the small r above the letter R, which was used from 72, the second one down doesn’t have it, that was used from 66
  21. I don’t think I’ve ever played a Fodera, I’d like to just to see if they are worth the price tag
  22. Yeah I noticed that too, I’m guessing it’s a 66/67 case , but you’re right you never know
  23. Really like this, if it was in the uk I’d be having a look and play, 68 with a B neck, I think it would work out too much to import, I’ll try to post the link https://search.app/rKVQqHoJwn2aD5PA8
  24. Cool, yeah that’s the one
  25. This one has come up a few times on a few reggae forums I’ve been on, not sure of the brand and a custom order I think
