    Hi ubit, I used to play a lot of blues, but the jazz thing doesn’t appeal to me, I like the idea of Scottish traditional, would you have an example of something to try 🙂

    It’s been a while since I played anything apart from reggae and dub, and I heard this on the radio and liked the rhythm, so I thought I might give it a go today, I found this cover by Constantine , it doesn’t look too difficult, but I’ll find out 🙂

    I really enjoy bass theory and I’ve had many books , one of my favourites is this, it covers scales all over the neck, major and minor , and one and two octave pentatonics, it’s also got a code for online audio.

    I never used to , but now I always use a strap when sitting down practicing, which is set at the same height as when im standing , because last year my Sandberg slipped off my tracksuit bottoms and landed on the jack plug , which completely snapped, luckily no damage was done to the bass , I just needed a new lead 🙂
