It’s a nice dark tort on there but I haven’t got around to taking the plastic off yet, but yeah I think black would also look good

Well this arrived yesterday, I’ve been looking for one for a while and a practically new condition one came up, not really been played, only tested and it still had the plastic on the pickups and tuning pegs , I have to say that the compound neck profile is amazing (not that I venture much up the dusty end 😁), it really feels great. It’s taking me a while to find the sound I like with the controls, any advice greatly welcomed , It’s quite a joy to play 🙂

I think it’s definitely put the block on the vintage market too, there’s some really nice basses for sale in Europe that I would have considered but adding around a £1000 fees to the price certainly puts me off

Labella 760FL are a great choice on a precision , i had those for years and I still have on some basses, but on new ones in i like the slightly lower tension on the LTFs

The bridge itself looks quite ingenious and I can see there’s a lot of thought gone into designing it, but for me, I can’t say I like the look, maybe it’s because I’m so used to my fenders, to me the best looking bridge is the BBOT with threaded saddles 🙂
