Have you tried just adjusting the bridge saddles up a bit before you do anything else to see if it makes any difference

Just to catch up here, when you fret single notes on your bass do they all buzz on all strings

On strings direct ,if you look at the bridge description there’s a link for the screws which gives the size as 5 X 1"

I’ve just remembered that I’ve had a sat of Adagio flats on one of my jazzes for about 7 years, they are a really good string for the money

It’s a very good community in my opinion, I’ve met up with many people here, mainly when I’m parting with money for something 😁, and everyone of them have been great, I’ve a lot less on my ignore list than I used to and I think that’s because it’s so well moderated now (thanks mods 👍), I’m always chatting with someone by PM and I’ve received great advice and knowledge from many about things when I’ve asked, I’m not going anywhere so I’m afraid you’re stuck with me 😁

I’ve got fairly new TI’s on a precision, what difference would you say is between the new ones and the 15 year old ones

I dabble a bit with recording and quite surprised myself how well I managed it, I’ve got the new iPad Pro and was using GarageBand with an irig, but I upgraded to a focusrite solo which I found better quality, I tried other apps but GarageBand was easier for me to use ,and once I spent some time with it I soon had it working well

Maybe try just changing the saddle screws first before changing the whole bridge, they might just be a bit loose
