  1. Up for the chop is my mid 00s MIM Jazz V Deluxe 5 string. Was originally passive but its been upgraded with an John East J retro preamp with a battery box professionally installed as well and the battery clip wires from the east extended. So no more taking the control plate off to change batteries its kinda wine red/burgundy (photos seems to be quite accurate on the colour) with mirror pickguard. there are two big knocks to it through the finish (see pics) and the pickguard has a couple of spots where the mirroring seems to have rubbed off under the perspex top layer. Other than that it's gravy. Neck front and back are excellent, frets have very little wear on them. Tuners (Gotoh) in good nick. oh and it could probably do with a new set of strings. The rounds on it are pretty dead. Any questions give me a shout. im open to partial trades and sensible offers. I have packaging, heavy duty gigbags and boxes ATM so can ship well protected. cheers
  2. Lovely analog sub octave fuzz from kiwi maker Redwitch. I would love to keep it and have for a few recordings here and there but it just not getting used enough to justify holding on to. One of the best tracking and sounding octaves about. Controls for dry/wet blend of both fuzz and octave. Toggle switches to half the gain and a high frequency rolloff to tame excess fuzz fizz. Fuzz controls for gain and sputter(gate) Internal trimmers to change fuzz and octave levels and fuzz bias. Don't let the few controls fool you. You can coax a vast array of fuzz tones out of this. The EQ of the fuzz changes with the interactive controls so you can find sweet spots for less scooped sounds, full on scooped gated synthy fuzz etc etc. Rubber feet have been removed and velcro attached. Oh and cosmetically is in better nick than it looks, almost impossible to photo shiny shiny things well 😂 Price includes UK postage.
  3. Surprised there hasn't been more interest in this!! Pretty much the ultimate bass chorus/detune/flange pedal aside from maybe the analogman. Definitely one of the best sounding choruseses I've used. GLWTS
  4. I've gone more old school sounding with my pj config bass so these are up for sale. Amazing pickups. Ceramic big pole model. They absolutely ooze build quality, when changing them out it was kinda shocking how much better built they were than dimarzios, EMG etc. The marketing drivel of being in-between a p-bass and a stingray soundwise seem for once to me to be right on the money. They are very full range flat response frequency wise with much more extended bass and treble compared with more normal sounding pups and very hot output without being overhyped. Takes drop tunings very well with very focused bottomed end. The jazz pup is humbucking so the set are extremely low/no noise. A bit of cosmetic wear to the p-pup cover with the logo slightly rubbed off but other good. Good length on the wire and comes with springs and screws. Price includes UK postage.
  5. Brand new in box. Only got it out in the studio to try it a while ago and then has been sat on a shelf since my HX stomp arrived. Ultimate tube screamer based overdrive pedal. 4 modes (vintage/lead/rhythm/high gain) Clean blend Sound great on bass and guitar. Pics to follow
  6. These are very nice. Ultralight, ultraloud, and very musical. Works well with almost every cab you can put it through and IMO kicks markbass stuff in the bum bum.
  7. Don't Paul. I'm now regretting it before I've sold it 😂 I probably should keep it but trying to be sensible with no gigs blah blah blah.....
  8. Orange Terror Bass MK1 Great tube pre/ss power head. Full of hairy grindy, tubey goodness and crazy loud for the power rating. Full 500w at either 4 or 8 Ohm switchable. a bit of cosmetic wear but otherwise good. Price includes UK postage.
  9. Legendary DI/Preamp for all your souped up active jazz tones. Some cosmetic wear otherwise in good working order. Price includes UK postage.
  10. I've now used this for recording on bass, guitar, snare, kick, vox etc etc. Sounds killer on all of them! Just with bass alone it's a great bit of kit that'll end your comp GAS, or at least pretty much make you sell every comp you buy and try after it. GLWTS
  11. That looks nice. What's the total weight of cab and driver?
  12. Now I'm more confused 😂 3 non stacked knobs and two band EQ How do you select pickups?
  13. The I've done something stupid on eBay price drop and bump. Up for partial trades too if that helps. Cheers
  14. Seller just offered watchers of this it for £300 cash on collection. Seriously if anyone can collect and sort packaging I'd be all over it myself at that price!!
  15. This is a stone cold bargain now. Just got the four stringer recently. Very resonant, decent weight and contoured perfectly for comfort and playing position. Neck is great and slightly slimmer than the previous gen and the pups and preamp, although maybe not having the biggest wow factor, sit straight into the mix on pretty much any style post 1989. If you need a studio workhorse, this is probably it!! GLWTS
  16. Electra Jazz bargain for those near Nottingham! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sandberg-Jazz-Bass-TT4-With-Hard-Case/133470460549?hash=item1f13759a85:g:InoAAOSwF9FfFgJq
  17. Picked this up before lockdown as my small/med with sub gig rig as I wanted to try out this lesser known polish brand as they generally look awesome and are always spoken of highly from the limited info online. Suffice to say I won't be needing it for a while now.🤪 It Harry brand spankers with the tags on still. 2x10 vertical stack with decent tweeter. Neo speakers, very comfortable 19kg. Its specd at 900w peak! I gave it a blast with my Genz head which puts out 500w at 8ohm. at the studio and pushed it up to kill level volumes to test it without issues so yes it's loud! I have packaging so could post at buyers cost and risk. Otherwise based in Forest Hill SE London. Happy to do a meet up if it's relatively close. Any questions get in touch. Cheers.

  19. Got this recently without realising it a 3 screw hole through body string which isn't gonna work for the bass I wanted to use it for. Saddles allow for adjustable string spacing which is why I got it to cure my jazz OCD😜 Bit of tarnish on a saddle of two but otherwise fine. All saddle grubs turning freely etc. Price includes UK postage. Cheers.
  20. I've managed to accumulate a bunch of straplock bits from basses and guitars. I don't use them myself, prefer a big flange personally, meooww! Prefer to sell them all as a job lot, could split them if you wanted like half the bits but trying to avoid selling the odd bit here and there and probably not worth it with postage costs etc. Pic below, let me know if you need anymore info on then
  21. Bam that looks nice!! Outrageous radiator pups and a decent neck profile. What are the controls? Stacked V/Ts for each pup? If my PRS distros happens to be a grand instead of the usual £60 this quarter I'll be in on this 🤪 GLWTS
