1. bump for a nice cheap - but extremely good quality - fretless. I has one of these. Really cant remember why I sold it!! & I bought it in Brighton too.. Now, there's a thing..
2. I'm sure its all part of a cunning plan by W to move the prices of the German machines upwards. Personally I think the RBs are very good, but that logo makes em look really naff!
3. PM'd. Just seen the bit about the SLR.. might be able to help there too..
4. Oli, I got a tip for you, man- don't sell it!! U'll live to regret it! Trust me! M

9.
That's what the Rockbasses are for! It puzzled me too, then made me glad i bought my Corvette years ago for under £600 Anyone know the prices of the new Rockbass line? The Rockbass Corvette Premium is coming in at £525 so hopefully the Basic model will be around £400. The new 2010 model looks really good, from the front it looks just like a German 'Vette
hmm probably means they're looking to move up the price of the German made 'vettes! buy now!!
10. Pm'd you re the Silicon Brassmaster - given date of original post, not sure if these are still available?
11. another option is to look for a Brassmaster clone - the originals date from the 70s, made by Maestro, and are collectors items. Malekko do a fair copy - known as the B:assmaster, (the Black Cat is similar, with a smaller footprint) they go for £199 new (the Malekko) - Roselane in Liverpool have one on ebay. Another option is a Polish made clone, known colloquially as the Pole Master made by a guy called Bogdan. He makes them as a hobby but puts them on ebay from time to time (plus his other pedals - Polish Love/Helter SKelter & Mephisto) - one of his clones will set you back £85 incl postage - so you pays yer money & makes yer choice! http://www.effectsdatabase.com/model/malekko/bassmaster is a great resource to keep an eye out worldwide for one! check out Talkbass (if I'm allowed to mention that!) for discussion on the Polish version vs the Black Cat & there's some sound clips of it here.. http://www.mm.pl/~bogus411/ enjoy!
12. Going on the bay, tonight unless anyone of you steps forward! It's a great 'musicians' instrument. Leo's last word on the bass!
13.
Where are you? And... is this sale only or are trades an option?
North Hampshire - i'd prefer a straight sale, but PM or text me, if you have a tempting offer! ;-)

Try it - you wont be disappointed! pm me here or text/call me on 07753 821525 Cheers.
21. yes, they look rather special dont they? Terrific value too.. I think it must be the Entwhistle from that Cardiff shop, cos that's the only other place I can find them listed. Interested by the 5 string but the Rikki style 1004 (reversal of 4001, I guess) looks neat too. So it's either this or an Xpression XP15.5... some choice..
