Thanks for this @MrFingers! That’s super helpful. I’ll have a look under the pickups over the next couple of days and let you know what’s under there. The scratch plate is definitely very recent. -
Dear Basschatters, I hope you're well. I recently acquired this bass and it seemed like an interesting mix of things to me. I have taken the neck of and it's a Herb Gastelum neck which is a nice surpirse but by my sight on the pencil marking it looks to be an 88 neck and then the pots are from a 77 but I can't tell the markings on the body. Any help identifying what this is would be brilliant and hugely appreciated! Best wishes, Sam

Dear Basschatters, I am just wondering if anyone has used a hard/flight case for their Aria SWB-04 EUB? I have seen some advertised in the past but I can't seem to see any pictures of them or know if they're genuine Aria cases or just cases that happen to fit Arias in them. Dear Basschatters, I have just seen this bass and the logo on the headstock looks familiar but can't work out hwere I've seen it before! Any clues from anyone on age and model? The body doesn't look original and the neck has had one of the tuners changed but any help with identification would be amazing! All the best, Sam

Dear Basschatters, Does anyone have any idea what might have happened here? Looks like an epoxy/glue finish gone wrong/water damage maybe? I can’t tell if it’s damaged the neck or the wood. It looks more extreme than just nitro cracking. Any help/ideas would be hugely helpful! Thanks in advance! Sam

Line 6 HX Stomp for sale in brand new condition. Only been taken out of the box to test as I already have one and this one was for a spare. Comes in box with all packaging and accessories as well as screen protector still on! Incredible piece of gear for amateurs and pros alike! My main one never leaves my board! Hey folks, I am looking to buy a 70s Fender Jazz but the neck is confusing me - it seems 100% legit and the serial matches up but the truss rod adjustment and headstock patch (where truss rod adjustment usually is) seems more like on a Precision bass from the era rather than a Jazz bass - any help would be really appreciated!
