  2. I wish I still had my Fender P deluxe V to offer! Those Fenders are great versatile basses too, you won't be disappointed once you have one.
  3. Fender '62RI jazzmaster CIJ Up for sale or trade is my jazzmaster. It plays very easily and looks and sounds great, but I do not need it at the moment. As a bass player which plays guitar occasionally, 1 electric is enough. This guitar is crafted in Japan. It's a great looking guitar, with a nice piece of wood used for the body. It has a tight neck-pocket fitting as you can see on the pictures. This JM is very well built. The overall condition is very good. There is a little bit of fret wear, which doesn't affect playability. It is really easy playing with low action. Further there are some small cosmetic damages, but nothing worth mentioning. I've installed a allparts buzzstop for more pressure from the strings on the saddles. I'm asking €800 Trades concerning bass gear are welcome. I'll be especially interested in a Gibson G3 bass or a pretty early 90s Stingray with lacquered neck. I've got some more stuff to add in a trade if needed. The guitar is located in the Netherlands, but can be shipped with europe/uk. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.
  4. The best finish for a MM in my opinion. Lovely. I prefer the lacquered necks too.
  5. That looks awesome, especially with that white pickup cover. Would perfectly fit my 80s fenders
  6. Fender JMJ Mustang Bass I bought this nice little fella (purchased new) a few months back. I really like it, but don't use it that much actually. Other basses fit the band sound better overall, so it's a bass I'm only enjoying at home. I'm starting to miss my old Gibson G3 bass, so I want to give it a try to see I can get one through a trade as I have no cash to spend. Ideally a little beat up (but technically perfect) ebony finished example with the original hardcase (just like the bass I miss ). This mustang is in great shape....I oiled the fretboard after the purchase, otherwise it's just like it arrived. It plays and sounds just great and all is working of course. You'll receive the digital invoice from me (concerning guarantee). I will also add a second set of Fender flatwound strings that also have been (shortly) used string through. Trade value: €900,- So tradewise I'm especially interested in a Gibson G3. Otherwise you may try to tempt me with the right Stingray (2eq, lacquered neck preferred), a bass from a USA brand who's name may not be mentioned here, or something extremely cool that doesn't come to my mind immediately. Edit: Please note the price in GBP wasn't entered correctly by me, should be 775. I can't change this.
  7. At the moment it's still available. Waiting for a possible buyer to respond.
  8. Funny that you mention this. Just yesterday I changed the pickup height on my (pretty similar, though with dots and binding) 82. At first I settled on similar output of both pickups, but I found it a little flat sounding. Now I lowered the bridge pickup a little compared to the neck pickup. And there is the deep growl Glwts. Its a great classic looker!
  9. Up for sale; I have 7 unopened sets of GHS super steels available. I do not own a 5 string anymore since a good while, so these may leave the closet. Of course I could use them without the B string, but I play sadowsky 45-105 right now. I'm asking 25 euro's (21,5gbp) per set. When buying all sets, one is free!
  10. Lovely bass. The black finish looks good on her (and is not the most common too!).
  11. Not yet, but could add one in this topic next Monday (amp is in rehearsal room). If you just need some basic info, there are pics on the internet of the same amp.
  12. I would love to try a 4003s as a possibly more comfortable alternative to a standard 4003. Midnight blue is a great finish, it does a great job in looking awesome in various types of light. Enjoy your bass:)
  13. Added factory specs from Hagstroms website. A cool feature to point out that is the single coils are actually stacked humbuckers.
  14. My second encounter with Benoit. All went smoothly again, its a good guy to deal with. Cheers!
  15. Hagstrom Super Swede Bass Up for sale is a pretty Hagstrom Super Swede Bass! This is a great jazz bass interpretation from the swedish company, that really has a character of its own. This bass looks awesome with its neck through construction, binding and blocks, and 2x2 headstock. Its not very well visible in the pictures, but the pretty red finish is transparent, so it shows some grain! The bass is in great shape, and I would say it pretty much looks near new. No damages to be found, and all works perfect. One thing I should point out is that this is a real featherweight!! According to my bathroom scales, this bass only weighs 3,17 kilo´s! I got this pretty instrument in a trade recently, but actually don´t have a use it. So it may move on. A generic hardcase is included in the sale. Factory specs that I found on Hagstroms website : Super Swede Bass Specs Body Double Cutaway - Original 1980 Super Swede Bass Design All Mahogany Neck Neck Through Body Material: Mahogany Truss Rod: H-Expander™ Deep “D” Profile Radius: 15" Fingerboard/Nut Material: Resinator™ Nut: Graph Tech™ Black Tusq XL 40 mm nut Fretboard: Resinator™ Fretboard Inlays: Hagstrom Perloid Block Inlays Frets: 20 Medium Jumbo Tuning Keys: Hagstrom Design 22:1 Tuning Pegs Scale Length: 34“ / 964 mm Electronics Pickups: 2 x Hagstrom Design J-Quad - quad-stacked Humbucker Controls: 2 x Volume, 1 x Tone Chrome Knobs Parts Bridge: Hagstrom Individual Adjustable Direct-Mount Saddles Tuning Keys: Hagstrom Design 21:1 Tuning Pegs I´m asking 750 euros (650 gbp) Tradewise I am mainly interested in a Gibson G3, the right stingray (preferably early 90s; lacquered neck, 2eq, mutes...), or a Fender musicmaster bass. I could add a little gear if needed.
