1. CTS 250K Logarithmic (Audio) solid shaft would do you right Something like this https://www.allparts.uk.com/products/copy-of-9-volt-battery-terminals-rigid-plastic-2
2. Thanks for clarification..I read a review of these on Amazon, which said different, advising extra routing to cavity to accommodate. PM coming, cheers
3. Hi, could you please advise if these are 'standard' jazz size - i.e. bridge pickup wider than neck? Thanks
4. Bump with price reduction!
5. *SOLD*
6. Boomstick Bottom Feeder Boomstick Audio Devices Bottom Feeder filter is the bass version of the acclaimed Mojo Hand Analogue Filter 442. Based on the same circuitry as the original DOD 440, but with a wider frequency range for bass guitar. A lovely 'bubbly' sounding filter, great for dub...and with a fuzz going into it is wicked too! Great review here from Bassfuzz.com https://www.youtube....h?v=wBLMXDYVK4Q I've built a clone now of this pedal, so the Boomstick is surplus to requirements. In good working condition, with velcro on base. £60 ono inc. P&P Cheers!

Gary bought my Tribal Planet gig bag. Came, collected & paid - no hassle straight forward transaction that we all want when selling. Nice chap - recommended. Cheers
8. I've got a black version of this bass, same year... It's the one I've kept, after recently selling all my collection. Something special about these basses. GLWTS
9. Tribal Planet (GSX5BK) Semi-Rigid Gig Bag In great condition. This is my spare one, so hasn't seen much action. However, I've absolutely hammered my other Tribal Planet gig bag over the last ten years & it's still going strong! I'm down to a one bass policy now, so this is surplus to requirements & cluttering up my studio. These gig bags have a tremendous reputation, though sadly no longer available. Adjustable internal padding & neck brace to suit design of bass, along with good sized pockets - I managed to carry around a class D amp, leads & bass stand in mine to gigs! May consider posting... Cheers!

15.
Any idea if the difference between this and the classic 50's is just the worn nitro finish? I don't normally go for relic'd basses, but this looks fantastic, especially the photo that makes it look pink!
Thanks Lee ... Regarding differences between this & the 'Classic 50s'... I tried two Classics prior to going for this, as I wasn't too sure about the relic thing at the time. Despite the Classic being a fantastic P-Bass (IMHO), there were enough differences to me with the Road Worn to persuade me to get it - nicer neck to play (with rolled edges) & a lighter more resonant body, maybe something to do with nitro finish(?) Few threads on BC on opinions & perceived differences between both these two types FYI: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/277349-fender-road-worn-series/page__p__2968608__hl__road%20worn%20classic__fromsearch__1#entry2968608 http://basschat.co.uk/topic/287289-nbd-fender-road-worn-precision-bass-fiesta-red/page__st__30__p__3088509__hl__road%20worn%20classic__fromsearch__1#entry3088509
16.
Er... Can you prune a herd?
Sounds nicer than to 'cull'
17. *SOLD - Pending Payment* Reduced to £675 2009 Fender 'Road Worn' 50's Precision (Fiesta Red) Further pruning of my bass herd, decided on a one bass policy, retaining my old & trusty keeper Tokai precision, therefore I'm selling this beauty on. It's an early 2009 version, which I understand differ a bit from current 'Road Worns' with slightly deeper body contours. Fantastic bass, as most will testify who've used one of these...Lovely neck to play, nice resonant lightweight (8.4lb) body. It's in good condition, only slight issue being small amount of glue residue from a pickholder which was installed on reverse of headstock (as shown in photo). As can be seen it's hardly noticeable & I haven't tried to remove it as doing so would probably take off serial no. I've had the pots upgraded to decent CTS ones & a PIO tone cap has been installed. Not sure if this bass originally came with 'ash tray' covers, but these are on the bass & are suitably tarnished, keeping with the relic'd aesthetic. Also thumb rest has been added keeping a vintage vibe. Additional Schaller straplocks, and a relic'd Fender neckplate, however original plain neckplate will be included with the bass too. Otherwise, the bass is stock, still with factory original US standard precision pickup, which is a cracking pickup IMHO. Bass is currently wearing an old set of Sadowsky flats which I want to keep, but I will put a fresh set of nickel roundwounds on prior to selling. Road Worn 50s Precision Bass RRP is currently £1,239. 18.
Hi ,Had a couple of these over the years ,but cannot remember the protruding screw on the top.Is it any thing to do with the voltage change?☺
Hi Richard, yes it's the mounting bolt securing the upgraded 240v toroidal transformer. ☺
19.
Ohh very nice! For such a classic amp in the States, there's hardly any over here. Someone messaged me a while back about finding one, I'll dig it out and send them a link. GLWTS
Cheers, much appreciated!
