HI There Selling this great amp, just need to downsize. Its been pretty much unused since its service at Ashdown Engineering in 2020. All the valves are very fresh and its ready to go. Price doesn't include shipping, I can find that out before I ship. Point to note, I cant get a straight answer for British buyers as to import duties that may need to be paid at your end. As far as I can tell, as its made in the UK it might be exempt but I'm not 100% about that. If anyone knows please let me know. I believe there's no issues if shipping to NI. Not much more to be said about this amp, 100W into 2/4/8 ohm taps, passive EQ. 19kg. Best suited for 4 x 10 or bigger. No Trades please, thanks for looking

Played a load of old timey jazz numbers with a 10 piece Dixieland/New Orleans band as their stand in bassist. Not my usual thing but its great to get out of your comfort zone and it was great fun and went down a storm. Gear = Fender P bass, Ashdown Spyder, Barefaced Two10. Sounded Superb.

This rig can actually do anything I need it to do . I was thinking of selling the amp but played it a few times lately at rehearsals and realised it sounds perfect.

It depends on the BF cab, the 12” series are very HiFi sounding , clear, accurate and powerful. The 10” series are more old school sounding

Chiming in on the Barefaced two10. Used this with a Trace AH500 and Spyder 550 and it has heaps of low end.

Here's my guess. I've owned both a PF350 and an old school Trace. While the Ampeg has more of a smooth sound that most people would still like today, the trace sound is well....its a trace sound, and I'm not sure modern players are into that anymore (I still love the sound of them BTW), so I'm guessing TE (or whoever owns them now, Peavey?) figured they'd sell more Elfs if they weren't so "Tracey"

I bought loads of gear from the UK pre Brexit, there were so many bargains to be had, especially from this site.

What makes it even more confusing is that Ireland(Rep) and the UK have other agreements pre-EEC that are now in place, I haven't a clue to be honest. BC is the best place to sell gear but I don't want fellow bass chatters to get hit with a nasty surprise.
