  2. Originals band, once a week around 3/4 hours, write new stuff and talk business, Gigging at least a minimum of once a week, so rehearsing the set is't needed, Covers band, 2/3 times a year close to a gig to iron out any kinks, play through a couple of new ones, Gig sporadically once or twice every 2 or 3 months.
  3. Hi, Probably about 18 years off where you are now, i'm 32 I've been playing for 18 years, It's only the past 4/5 years it's become a lifestyle, 100+ gigs a year with our Originals band, moderate success and still chasing the "dream" Earn enough to cover costs e.g. fuel, merch stock up etc. day job pays for everything else. Love what i do but i know it's not sustainable at this level, realistically would we make it? not in this day and age haha, I do have amazing memories, experiences and plenty off the bucket list, I totally understand what you mean though. Maybe try something completely different? Perhaps something to get your teeth into to reignite any flames? teaching? band management or advice? certainly taking up Upright would be great, or perhaps studio work, take all the things you enjoy from creating music and remove the things you don't? i know a fair few musicians who just do studio stuff only, barely gig it live. Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for 😎
  4. Sex on fire Dakota Mr Brightside 🤮

  6. Still available, cool switcheroo pedal
  7. Thanks dude, I have one of those power amps that Maplin did in the rehearsal room class D, loads of watts, interested to see what a class a/b power amp feels like. If it's reliable then bonus.
  8. Afternoon, Looking at a cheap modular set up, on my internet travels i came across the Subzero brand from Gear4music https://www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/SubZero-PA1200-Class-AB-Amplifier/2J1J Cheap? yes, reliable no idea? anyone have any experience with this brand? Cheers Stoff
  9. Check out King Hobo too, also featuring Jean-Paul, it's the singer and guitarist from Kamchatka, ex keyboard player from opeth on Hammond then bass and on the first album a really cool session bassist.
  10. Awesome, great place, reasonable stage, but the onstage sound was perfect, awesome monitors, lighting not so great but that's a matter of preference. Most importantly very cheap local Ale! Enjoy dude it's a cool place
  11. Good man! Enjoy!
  12. The Globe In Glossop Tonight . .
  13. All of them as they are my favourite band! But I would start at: Robot Hive exodus, Blast Tyrant,From Beale Street to Oblivion, Psychic Warefare and Book of Bad Decisions!
  14. There are many things you can try, I personally, use an EHX bass soul food in our 3 piece, boosts nicely, bit of extra gain but not all out fuzz and a blend to keep in the clean signal, best thing to do is have a play with these things and see what works best for you and your sound
  15. Anytime dude! watched you from above and the side, was cool man!
  16. @radiophonic Was an awesome gig man! you guys sounded great. Here's our rock pose! got a few vids of our set too
  17. was this Rescue Rooms - Macmillan fest by chance? If so, you're welcome 🙂
  18. no Worries, I had it, but it wasn't really my tone, If you wanted an all in one I'd find a used Sansamp, I have the Mk 2 version and it's just pure tone, if you wanted more options, there's usually a Programmable one knocking around for sale, which will give you 3 channels, you could have a clean / OD / boost as an example, plus DI

  20. Happy to throw in 4 of these to help power you pedals from the dc outputs!
  21. £70 posted not available directly in the Uk, on Thomann at £125 + postage for reference
  22. Ahh the regular bellow of "STAIRWAY TO FREEBIRD!!" between songs.
  23. Great pedal, able to power up to 4 other 9v pedals, as well as having a dedicated Tuner out and 3 separate switching loops. Need this gone 😞
  24. Hey dude, just had one and sold it as it was surplus to my requirements, but used this solely to run a power amp and cab and di into a Pa for small pub gigs. Great pre-amp and tone tweaking, plus 2nd channel for fuzzy overdrivey stuff. you can take it out the DI as pre or post e.q like most these days, so your natural tone going FOH to be tweaked on the desk, or the tone out the pedal to be tweaked on the desk, with the addition of the comp and noise gate, really held it's own, now if it had a tuner then it'd be a game changer
