Hi dude Been using an ABM 600 since January, played through many different cabs on my travels, but my own cab is now a Barefaced 4 x 10. Plenty of heft, and it almost touches on those old school British Trace Elliot watts . . almost 🙂 Class A/B so a bit heavier than little mark class D stuff, but will make up for it in great tone shaping and plenty of heft, I have to Keep up with a Huges and Kettner Tri Amp and it does so easily

Purchased a Tc Sub N Up, excellent service, all packaged great and arrived well in time as stated. Happy to do business thanks

If I had just 5 to chose from id have the below, I own some currently, would be a step down to 1 fuzz from 3 on my current board. Sansamp Bddi V2 / Or Sansamp SH-1 (once i have tried it) Sovtek Green Russian Deluxe (mids!!) Dunlop Geezer Butler Wah Micro Thumpinator Korg Pitch Black Tuner I got the Warwick rockboard patch cables with the flat heads, best I've used yet for durability and space saving. Power wise, I'd like a T rex classic, so I can power off a sturdy IEC cable rather than the 9 volters, I know board aint an option but i have the Rockboard with the MOD1 in it (is that cheating haha)

Simple riffs that repeat through whole song

She Sells Sanctuary - The Cult Only as i was "forced" to learn this in the covers band -
No worries, great amp, got that myself, If it's based on a weight issue, I'm sure this cab will sound great and does what it needs to for you

Tried a few of the RM cabs, great for the price and weight. Which head will you be running with this? its around £150 more for the ABM but 11kg heavier but a bit more response, but i don't think you'll notice much of a difference,

Hey dude, Deffo email Ashdown, they're amazing, I bought an ABM600 2nd hand from here too and had the same issue, although mine turned out to be just the valve that had gone, they suggested a dodgy pot and suggested either send it in for repair or they could send over the bits FOC if your handy with a soldering iron. I Feel your pain, The pub covers band i am in are certainly not a wedding band either, but played our (originals bands) drummers Wedding the other week. Venue was sound didn't hear a hoot from them, The Wedding planner on the other hand, couldn't run a bath. Luckily the stage area was a marquee out back which wasn't being used until our party was in there, so we quickly chucked everything in there, set it up got changed and cracked on. Good luck though dude, even 45 mins to get it all sorted is a killer! Hope it goes well

Thanks Guys, some great points here. it's not always a case of if it ain't there don't force it, I do in general struggle to break outside my usual box of licks so to speak. So any tips on breaking the mould is all welcome. Honestly, i just plug into garage band make a beat and see what comes out, sometimes with 'G***tar. I may be pushing myself to write a masterpiece every time as opposed to tinkering or jamming.

Coming up to start writing for our 3rd album. I've never been a riff machine, but when i do come up with something, it fits well in our sound. lately it's just the same nuances around the blues scale, or harmonic minor and quite frankly it's boring. i'd say you always want to progress and grow through each of your albums, especially with the work and gigs we've done. A bit of a workaholic with my music stuff and always want to be doing something. Anyway, any tips on freeing the mind / fingers, inspirado?

I try an avoid batteries, most pedals of mine are bottom screwed and velcro'ed down, a spear for the bass is always handy mind.

The first day i got mine, I had a gig with @doomed and his band, I had my Four ten, he had the Barefaced 2 x 15 (correct me if i am wrong lad!) Pure girth wise on the low end there wasn't much in it!, like @Deedee says, they sound phenomenal in comparison to other branded cabs.
