    its a pro II mate. totally legit and a very decent bass in it's own right if not on the same level as a Pro I. Built in Japan i believe using German hardware and electronics

    When you say they are too big do you mean they won't for through the holes in the headstock? If that is the case you will need to tell us the diameter of the holes so we can advise suitably. I take it you aren't keen to drill the holes to increase their diameter to for your existing machineheads? Photscould also help

    Every day is a school day! To be fair though I dont think Warwick would have put their name to the Chinese made one's if they were bad so 200 I would have thought would be a reasonable price? Be interested to hear if that's not the case though...

    every day is a school day! these are truly special instruments and im sure this will not hang around too long. good luck with your sale. you dont mention if it comes with a hardcase...? would also be worth mentioning the weight as mine is quite light. here's a few pics of mine for comparison:

    on closer inspection it looks like you are correct and this is also a broadneck. i didnt realise this was the default option back then. mine is actually from '90 so has the seperate battery box and you have to unscrew the cavity cover. anyway, this is a stunning instrument and quite rare to have the Barts in there.

    Very strange it didn't go for 300! These are amazing basses and very high quality. I had one as my first "proper" bass back in 00.

    I have this exact same bass but with the broadneck. It is the only bass I will NEVER sell. The combo of the barts and the pre just sing! Does it have the same trim pot on the pre (inside the cavity) to control the mids?

    Thanks Lawrie, appreciate your kind words. I have priced it keenly and in line with the fact it isnt completely original and has had the repair carried out. hopefully the right buyer will come along before too long. Just need to get passed the post Xmas slump!
