  1. Good thread! I'm hoping to do some neck carving too, at a not to distant point in the future. Will follow with great interest!
  2. Wow! Congratulations on a fine build, it looks exceptional and probably sounds that way too!
  3. Looks really good! Excellent use of the masking tape, I will try that on my uke.
  4. ebay is a gamble that usually pays off, but I hate it on those occasions it doesn't.
  5. My main bass is a BB414, the bastard son of the BB's. I love it!
  6. That's the coolest, most gorgeous fretless I've ever seen.
  7. Nice Project! The Tele bass is the coolest looking Fender (IMHO)
  8. It's a strange looking beast, but I like it!
  9. Just had another one. I forgot to copy the link, but it was "Dying a Fretboard"
  10. Yup, generic. I like having it in my stash.
  11. It's actually quite nice. The photos not so much.
  12. Bought a bridge from China thinking it was the usual 19mm between the stings, but it turns out it's 16,66mm (total 50mm) What are they thinking? There's no point sending it back. Could it be a heavy duty bass-uke bridge?😀
  13. Looks good! It's also nice to see that I'm not the only one who mixes all sorts of materials, like plastic and balsa.
  14. I've bought a couple of similar chinese necks and they are pretty good, but be prepared for a little work on the fret ends. They will probably start to poke out after a few weeks. The wood may be a tad fresh. It's easily fixed though.
  15. Hosco body, Wilkinson pickups and tuners. Chinese bits make up the rest.
  16. Had to turn it off after about 40 seconds. What a "treat" for the audience……….
