  1. I put GHS Flats on a Fretless Jazz a month back and yeah they are nice
  2. Yep that’s sort of my experience too. I haven’t required “repairs” more “maintenance” for my Ashdown gear and always excellent communication and advice Given I bought my Klystrom ABM in 1998 and it’s still used 3-4 times a week that’s pretty good I reckon
  3. Double Ball i don’t have the string adapter
  4. Put LaBella Flats on my L2 Steinberger today and it’s Smooth Sailing Lovely stuff
  5. ABM 1510HX and ABM Klystrom 400 from 1998

  10. What year isthat Stingray?
  11. Really like that. Cool as I've got another Tobias Growler on the way. It's nice having both Stingray and Growler

Nice stuff Like the matching headstock action👍
  15. Clean technique.
  16. Tobias👍
  17. John K says no. "Worst pedal ever" I'm still keen on a try of the Octave Pedal on the rationale that the Sub Octave in my 1998 Klystrom ABM 400 is actually really good.
  18. I've strung it with Chromes. Very smooth instrument. SS RW were good but just too much for me. I don't like the treble knob much. It adds hiss at the high turn as well which it should not do.
  19. A cat over here told me that EB no longer make fretless. I had a look on EBAY for Fretless 5. Only 1 showed up (Australia) would be about $6200NZ Not in my zone for something I couldn't play first
  20. Um. They are different things. The Hohner was well made and reliable and served it's functional purpose of readying my technique for when I could get a Steinberger. IMO there isn't another Bass like Steinberger.
  21. Yes. I had one for maybe a year-18 months I purchased it in 1988 from Charlie Jemmetts Music Store. Sold it to help fund the L2.
  22. yes. It's my favourite. its probably not the amp for everybody but its definitely tge Amp for me
