  1. If the individual shims work it certainly looks okay.
  2. I'd say that was a respectable effort for a first time.
  3. Yes. Jean-Luc Pickguard did but I think he got away with it.
  4. Jah Wobble? I thought he was a laugh on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
  5. I was hoping he'd say what he found useful on that. @devinebass, Did he say anything about the B3 off camera?
  6. I dunno. I think I might enjoy having reproduction equipment that is the shape of a Hofner. It'd be a great ice breaker at parties.
  7. It's not a washtub bass but I think it's relevant. Unfortunately the photo links are broken. If you ask @oldslapper nicely he might be able to restore them:
  8. I'd recommend having the frets levelled and dressed. There is a list of people here who may be able to help.
  9. At least you have eliminated that possibility. Good hunting.
  10. Have you seen @Andre_Passini's Nova headless hardware?
  11. I can recommend contacting them anyway. The worst that can happen is they confirm that they can no longer supply replacement parts. If you are lucky they may be able to replace it for you. I bought a pair of Heco Superiors a long while back. They were ex-demo from one of the Derby HiFi shops and one of the tweeters was fried. They discounted the speakers heavily and gave me contact details for the manufacturer. They sent a replacement tweeter free of charge and I'm still using the speakers every day thirty years later!
