  1. Hard to tell from the pictures (might just be my phone screen) is it blue or is it black?
  2. Up for sale is my Boss Katana 100 1x12 combo. Amp is in great condition and can produce a massive range of great tones. Everybody has heard of them, everybody is amazed by them, they're just fantastic. Problem is, I have my eyes set on a Vox AC4, and need to clear some funds to get one. The old 1-in-1-out rule. Will get some pictures up soon, or if needs be will send you the pictures I had off the guy I bought it from 4 or so months ago. I think between us, it's had less than a years ownership. Will include a cable to connect it to a computer and access the Boss Tone Studio. I've found this to really transform the amp. £200 on collection from Birmingham, B36. Will trade for Vox AC4 or other smallish valve guitar amp, show me what you got.

  4. Up for grabs are 2 recent impulse purchases that it turns out, I didn't actually need. They're good but I just have barely used them. First of all is my EHX Memory Boy. Versatile Analog delay with loads of different sounds from its switches and even takes an expression pedal if you want to use one. Comes in pretty much unused condition, probably only been switched on half a dozen times. Also comes with box and all the box shrapnel supplied by EHX, including a power supply. £50 Inc UK Mainland Delivery Next up is a bit more obscure. Analog Fox Tone Machine Octave-Fuzz thing, modelled on the Foxx Machine fuzz and with an octave-up switch to make it like the Fulltone Ultimate Octave. Hard to explain but theres a video on Youtube from Intheblues where he goes through the tones. £50 Inc UK Mainland Delivery Pictures of both: http://imgur.com/a/VTRCXqc Both come with Velcro on the back. £50 each or can do some deal on the pair. As evidenced by these impulse buys, I'm always looking for new and exciting things in part/ex, particularly any nice power supplies, loop switchers, big muffs, compressors, other nice pedals you may be looking at offloading.
  5. Swapped pedals with Rory. Deal was smooth, Comms were great and I've never seen anything packaged as securely as the pedal Rory sent. Top notch bloke to deal with, would do business again in a heartbeat.
  6. All working perfectly. Plugged it in today for a test run and nowt wrong with it. On top of which, I believe Ashdown still have lifetime warranty on all of their products as long as you can get it to them. Any age, any model, no need for any proof of purchase. They'll repair it or swap it out for the current equivalent.
  7. fluffy stuff on the board, pointy stuff on the pedals. I find doing it the other way around makes the board catch serious amounts of labrador hair.
  8. Got a few pedals I'm looking to move on as I dont use them. First up is a Boss OC3 - in ok condition, works perfectly but shows its age. Back label has come off when I applied velcro. £60 SOLD - Tone City Golden Plexi - lovely distortion pedal. Put velcro on the back and when I removed it it took the label off with it. Bit too gainy for me but there are folk that swear by them. Just not really fitting in with what I am doing right now - £20. Marshall ED-1 - decent compressor, but I don't really use it - £25 in box SOLD - Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi - almost perfect condition. Used twice, at home - £35 in box - SOLD Pictures are available via Imgur - https://imgur.com/a/PrhtzXo Postage included but collection in person in birmingham will get you some quids off. Will trade for a Fuzz, Octave-Fuzz, Wah, Tubescreamer, Delay, Reverb or one of the Fulltone fulldrive pedals (preferably the FD2 but will take a FD3 too) or can arrange a deal for a little all valve guitar amp (Bughera or Laney or something). Let me know what you got.
  9. Peavey Bandit Silver Stripe up for sale. Everyone knows about these amps so will get straight to the point. It is the model before the current one with the Sheffield Speaker (which I am of the opinion is the best version of the Bandit). Sounds great and is very versatile. There are plenty of videos about these. Selling is as it literally fits nowhere in my student digs and I need beer money. Pics will be available on imgur - https://imgur.com/gallery/gt1C8Jz £80 or trade for some guitar pedals. Cheers.
  10. Will get pictures sorted out when I am next home from uni. Will consider trades for a guitar pedals or a little valve practice amp. Still no option to post this bass amp though, it's just too cumbersome.
  11. Time to revive a dead thread. This is still for sale. Make me an offer ladies and gents, I'm in need of any cash I can get with the broke student life hitting harder than expected.
  12. If I can make it then I will. Its a big if at the minute with me starting Uni, having exams that week and also now having no car. Will give petrol money to anyone that can pick me up from Castle Bromwich.
  13. Harley Benton TE52NA up for sale. Awesome Tele style guitar for not much money. Specs are on the Thomann website, but we should all know by now the quality of these Bentons. Currently strung with D'addario 10s and is in awesome condition, barring a wobbly output jack. It will never fall out, but probably needs the nut tightening the jack to the plate. Speaking of the jack plate, one of the screws is missing from it, and it has been since I got it. Doesnt affect anything and a replacement screw is easy enough to find if you need it. Recently had a bash at setting it up myself. It's not perfectly set up as I am a bit inexperienced in it, but it plays pretty good none the less. More pictures are available on request. £90 delivered anywhere in the UK. Selling as I have just took ownership (or re-ownership) of my Strat. Will trade or part ex (cash in your direction) for anything with humbuckers (Les Paul style, SG, 335, PRS SE etc) or P90s (Epi Casino, similar). Hit me up.
  14. The first ever Rick I played was a 4003 in Walnut. It was perfectly set up and strung with Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats. Sounded incredible and played even better. I was so very tempted to finance the £1450 price tag but had to take a phone call so put it back on the stand in PMT and left it. Went back the following week and it had gone. No Rick or any bass for that matter has ever played better or felt better to me since that one. Oh how I wish i would've just pulled the trigger that day.
  15. that looks different. Going to be watching the refurb with great interest. Happy NBD Paul!!!
  16. Up for sale is my Ashdown Vintage 12 75w Amp. Loaded with 12" speaker and with apptek technology to load in different amp voices and effects from an aux cable and a smartphone. Simply don't have the space for this and not playing bass all too much right now. Has slight damage to the rubber on the handle (which I can send pictures of), but doesn't affect anything. Handle itself is still going strong. Plenty loud enough for practice sessions, and has a DI out too if you wanted to gig with it. Here's what Ashdown say about it - https://ashdownmusic.com/products/aaa-vintage-12 Pics available on via Imgur - https://imgur.com/a/Rt59Vu0,Tried to picture the handle thing - basically the rubber on the handle can come out of the metal mounts but can just be tucked back in. The metallic bar inside the handle is unaffected and the rubber is just for comfort and still stays on despite the sides flapping out. Asking for just £40 collected from B36 Birmingham - will not post as I doubt it would be worth it for anyone given the weight vs price. For trades, any guitar pedals you may have. Especially wah, a tubescreamer or fuzz.
  17. Great day out and the presentations were great. Andy made the veneering look straightforward enough that I'm now looking for an unfinished body to have a go myself. Lovely to see you all, thanks Si for organizing 👍🏻
  18. Hi guys, Up for sale is my Blackstar ID Core Beam. I bought it from this parish a month ago for the same price as I am listing it for. I bought it as I needed both a guitar amp and a bass amp in one package, but now I have both a guitar amp and a bass amp seperately and need the quids to make up for my GAS habits. 20w of solid state amp with 6 guitar voicings, 2 bass, 2 acoustic and 2 acoustic simulator voices. Plus tons of inbuilt effects, all in a small form factor that is plenty loud enough for practice. Also has inbuilt Bluetooth and works great for streaming spotify tracks to as it doesnt colour your bluetooth audio like some amps do. Heres what Blackstar have to say about it: https://www.blackstaramps.com/uk/products/idcore-beam £130 delivered anywhere in the UK, or £120 collected from B36 Birmingham.
  19. Couple of pedals I don't use any more and would rather have the cash. First up is a EHX Bass Big Muff Pi. Excellent condition, used maybe 2 or 3 times out of the house. Comes with box and manual. £35 delivered in the UK Second is an Eden Bass Chorus. Bought it on a whim but don't think I've actually ever used it for anything. Going for £35 delivered, again in original box and with a 15V power supply. Can send pictures on request.
