  1. Add spelling mistakes to that.
  2. I'm not falling for that old chestnut
  3. Those 2 killer albums were definitive. Superb writing
  4. The traders are welcome
  5. Oh boy. Guilty Left these behind 19 years ago Moonhowl 2.mp3 StoneFree 2.mp3 Airborne Baby 2.mp3
  6. Thanks guys. The Keys player sorted it out in the end. Its his Korg after all, but i'm the one playing it as an added part for a track
  7. The Louis Vuitton bag scenario would guarentee that i'd never go back to that shop, if thats how they work
  8. Perhaps nowhere near as often as Iggy, but didnt Donita Sparks from the all female band L7 drop her skiddies on UK tv and was nekkid from the waist down ? She did much worse at Reading Festival IMO, attention grabbing antics like this is kinda pathetic, and a bit school playgound
  9. Similar .. They had mine , but they put up 2 sets of identical photos, but each set had different prices. The same bass, but with 2 different prices. Weird. Then, one of the set of photos was marked ' sold ' but it wasnt, when i checked. I got my bass back after that. Amateurs
  10. Its always worth proof reading before hitting the submit button. Perhaps that's too simple for some.
  11. They disbanded in the 80's 🤓
  12. Never owned a Riccardo, but nowt against them. For any fans, the track below is from an album, ( yeeeup, released on Vinyl ) by some pals of mine. Jerry was the bassister on fretless Rick , fab player I shared a house with Jerry, and Dennis, the guitar wiz ... Vintage 57 Gold Top Les Paul no less They were a great band, if you like that sort of music, and the whole album is on YT.
  13. The PJ headphones at £49 are only half price from PJ themselves, as Amazon sell them for £67.99 , but thats still nearly a £20 saving
  14. Arggggh ! My bad - what was i thinking
  15. Always is, ya never know. But the Vitoos 9v outlets are all 300 ma whereas the the Mooer 9v are all 100 ma. I know not many pedals require over 100 ma but who knows what gas i'll get in the future ? 300 ma would, i assume, cover just about anything 9v
  16. Thanks mate but i've gone for the Vitoos, because the Mooer is £20 more just for that one 15v power. The Vitoos was £41 and i can live with having one extra power supply for the Wah
  17. Then how are you going to build a bass if you aint not got any tools ?
  18. Wah ! And its cheaper. Good post BT. Cheers ! Sod the HB jobbie Also just realised the HB does NOT have a 15v outlet, so my Californiwah will still have to have its own supply/plug
  19. Very good sir
  20. Messaged the seller and he says it come with a bottle of fretboard cleaner
  21. This power brick looks intriguing ( proper isolation for the sockets ) and 500ma 12v 15v 18v options, and all 9v options are 300ma, which makes a change. Tested on Youtube and all was good, and HB speak the truth Trouble is, its own mains supply is a dodgy 2 pin plug, on a skinnier than skinny cable, ending in a barrel connector. I asked about cutting euro plugs off and fitting uk plugs in another thread ( RCF Sub ) but that cable from Italy had proper size 3 colour wires , blue / brown / green stripe, so was advised a uk plug would be fine, but this doesnt look like that can be done. Yes, 2 pin plugs can be stuck into a UK adaptor, but its nasty and cumbersome, and they usually wobble about. Not sure, so what to do ?
  22. My pal plays jazz guitar, amongst other styles, and being a grade 8 teacher of guitar, i guess he knows whats what. He uses a Marshall AS50D, and leaves it at my place for impromptu jamming. Its a superb amp. Not expensive - think they can picked up for £100-£135
  23. I would certainly go with Ped and Bass Apprentice choices. Cort make pretty good basses, and so do Sire. I've owned a Sire in the past. The Ibanez would also be a good choice, but a little more expensive, if you can stretch to 33,000 Rupees
  24. £300 seems very reasonable for a pro to ply their skills. Thing is Mick, you say you dont have the tools so you're going to have to up your budget from the £300 course fee. You could buy second hand, and if you do, i would be asking Jabba, Christine, Andy, what makes to look out for, and which would be essential for the work
