1. Yeah it's Maplin prices haha. So the overall impedance won't be affected?
2. My 210 practice cab is 4 ohm and I want to wire a tweeter into it. How will I go about this - series or parallel, and will it affect the overall impedance? The speakers are wired in parallel. Specifically this tweeter: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Module...14&doy=13m8
3. Worth it if you like the look and you need a replacement bridge. Tone-wise you won't notice any difference.

GONE

I used them for about 2 months before some gigs came up and I stuck some new ones on Ideal for boiler £1 for postage. Cheers.
5. Do you have any more info on the combo? Size and weight in particular. Thanks.
6.
The only worry I would have is someone who was genuinely very talented and 'perfect' would also have an ego the size of a planet, and would in fact be the most annoying and arrogant person because of how good they KNOW they are.
This is the point when someone goes from being "good" to being "too good"
7. PM us your address mate.
8. So, a while ago I bought a load of parts and put them together MightyMite Jazz bass neck Wizard "Thumper" pickup Passive wiring with CTS pots, switchcraft jack, Orange drop caps (0.1uF total). Fender tuning keys Gotoh bridge Straplocks Strings: 50-110 Elites The body used to be sunburst and was in a bit of a state. Sanded down and after a few extra routes/fills, refinished in satin black (I got bored of shiny finishes ) Pictures (camera phone atm sorry):
9. Almost 6 metres blue guitar/mic cable, 6mm diameter. No end connectors, 2 signal wires, 1 shield wire. Free to anyone or it gets binned.
10.
Exceeding xmax doesn't bother anything, it just makes for a dirty/compressed tone. Guitar players get their tone by exceeding xmax, and being able to do so in the midrange is why guitar drivers have small xmax values. Exceeding xlim OTOH has disastrous consequences.
This value is probably what I meant the shape of the waveform does not matter.
11. I am still going by the argument that the speaker does not care what shape the waveform is, as long as the mechanical limit (Xmax) of the speaker is not exceeded.
12. Not only that, but they are variable speed. The warmer the amp gets, the faster they go so if you notice that don't worry it's normal too.
13. I wouldn't worry too much about it being 4 or 8ohm, the ABM410 is nice and loud either way Have you tried contacting Ashdown? They will sell you replacement parts directly.
14. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=180272661780 Any offers on here and I can take it off eBay Rich.
15. Shame you've gotta sell it mate, fantastic basses. I've got the same one in tobacco sunburst, no way I'd ever part with it and if I had a spare grand I'd take this off you straight away. Whoever gets this is one lucky beeatch

Hi

Woohoo The most under-rated band in the world IMO
17. In which case how do you amplify a square wave synthesizer? And how can you use distortion pedals?

SOLD

Before I put it on eBay, I'll see if there's any interest on here. It's basically just sitting around as a backup bass to a backup bass... It's in very good condition, a couple of very minor surface scratches on the back, scratchplate and behind the bridge, currently has Rotosound SS 40-100 strings on. I have added a couple of modifications to it: 1) A complete rewire (including pots), push/pull potentiomer series/parallel switch and chrome shielding in all cavities. 2) Replacement bridge. 3) Fender control knobs. 4) Bartolini 9JL bridge pickup (still have the original too). I'm looking for around £200, I can post (will split postage 50:50) or you can collect. Open to offers. Unfortunately I don't have a case. Rich. 20.
Personally i'd avoid the 1x15 cabs. I think the 10" variants are much better at what they do..
Aye, I'm not a fan of the Ashdown 15's either.
