    As a Terror Bass user, i'm using it mainly for that early seventies classic rock sound, and with two 12AX7's in the pre-amp, it adds more than enough grit. If you keep the gain down a smidge, it will do cleaner sounds. And at 500w into 4 or 8 ohms, it has enough headroom for pretty much any gig. Signed, A happy OTB user.

    Not strictly bass, but the lead guitarist in the country band i play with has a 12w boutique hand built jobbie, based on a 50's Fender that sounds the DB's.

    I'd personally buy a flight case and get the foam custom cut to fit.

    Ashdown did the Superfly cabs in a 1x15 and 4x8. Would be a perfect match for the LG1000, as they're 4 ohm cabs with a decent wattage rating, and pretty light as well.

    Played on the same bill as a band called Dragged into Sunlight on saturday. The jammy gits are endorsed/sponsered by Matamp. The stuff sounded ace, but still not as good as my Terror Bass
