would anyone happen to know what the gap between the strings and the pickups should be on a 34inch 4 string P bass ? i dont know if its a universal size or changes between makes/modles its a antonio star bass with the 2 offset rectangle 4 pot pick ups cheers ben

ha its a rag top so i'll just take the roof off and if i want to sit in the passenger seat i'll just whip the door off thanks for the advice on the practice amps i'll try and get 1 when i have the funds

theres no chance i'll sell my car its going to be a while before i end up on stage believe me its mostly to make sure the bass works when plugged in

hi i'm just starting out and cant afford to buy an amp just yet but i have the leads and adaptors ready for when i do but i was wondering if my bass would work ok if i plugged into my car radio as it has an aux in port on it and is connected to a 400w amp and sub ? cheers ben

hi i'm ben from blackpool (moving to preston next month) i'm completly new to bass guitars but have been intrested in learning for a while i've got an antonio star bass its only cheep for something to learn on for now (not bad for £40 with new strings) chances are i'll be asking afew thick questions
