1. Im a HUGE fan... all my songs lately are heavily inspired by vulfpeck in one way or another.... posted one..... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/298864-vulfpeck-inspired-song-thoughts-and-comments-please/
2.
Ahh I used to have the old big box 24v Qtron! I loved the sound, but it was too big and bringing an extra plug was a pain (it did seem to suck tone bypassed too) I've since used EBS,Digitech,Boss, EHX Bassballs and Tonefactor filters and never got that sound. I've a 3 leaf Wonderlove coming any day and I'm hoping it'll knock the Qtron+ off my top spot 😆
Did the Wonderlove do it for you???
3. im interested. can i play it first?
4. Ha! bloody 2nd hand LS-2 had a dodgy output! Thanks, its a Cort A5 custom SP. its still in very good condition actually. no buckle rash out of the ordinary. Its my backup now very nice instrument still...
5. My band consider ourselves a kind of "pop jazz funk".... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaPGaqpHgtI
6.
looks amazing! I think I would have sent the first one back. The scratch alone is enough reason to do that. The second one looks really good. What are/were they like to play? any differences at all in feel or sound?
It's a dream to play. The kneck is so comfortable with the variable radius and neck shape.I had to spend a few evenings setting it up properly but I'm very close to where I want it now. I've never owned a fender before, as they never really grabbed my attention before. But this one sure does! The Finnish is superb, very playable, punchy usable toned packed with that fender growl that I like. The supplied fitted case is really great too.
7. please change title. i got very very excited for nothing 8-*
8. is this still available?
9. I can confirm that the elite series has the misicman style truss rod adjustment wheel. you can adjust the truss rod without removing anything using an allen key or a suitable rod
10.
It looks great. Can you play it?
not nearly as well as id like too...
11. New guitar arrived today. The wood grain is "normal" and no damage to speak of on initial inspection. Only had 2 mins with it tho as I'm at work. Full inspection and report will follow But I'm over the moon with how it looks
12. I sent the bass back and requested another due to the scratch on the neck. They are going to send me a new one, estimated delivery 11th Jan. I'll post a pic when it arrives. I posted a pic of the scratch for which i returned it if anybody is interested. As a side note, I have actually come round to the idea of ugly wood. Wood is wood. If the next one is ugly. I'll keep it
13. is this still available? edit : never mind, i thaught it said Brighton. like the actual Brighton
14. where are you mate?
15. I think im right in saying that flats have less high frequency content (especially old ones) so the filter will not be able to cut the frequencies that arent there to begin with, so the filter sweep will be less noticeable. I love my MXR and although i have 5 filters. its the only one permanently on the board. I do notice however how much more prominent the sweep is with fresh strings. hope that helps
16. I just treated myself to a fender jazz elite v in tabaco sunburst. It's the only fender I have played and fell in love with. Expensive yes... but don't tell the missus
17. Thank everybody for your opinions. I paid full price from a guitar shop in London. I ordered it and had them ship it to me here in brighton. I paid nearer 2000 than 1500. Alot nearer. The thing know is I'm a wood grain lover. I purposefully paid the little extra for the ash body and transparent finish so I could see the grain. And although it's still beautiful, it is without doubt the least attractive one I have seen. And I'm not happy with that. Upon closer inspection, there is also a scratch have on the back of the neck and a bump on the headstock. So it's going good back. Thanks again for those who replied
18.
B stock, too - signs of use.
What makes you say that?
19. Thanks for the messages. Here is the whole guitar...
20. I received my new fender jazz elite 5er today in tobacco sunburst. It's perfect except a blemish in the wood grain is right in the middle of the top.... I know its silly but I'm questioning myself if I should send it back? It's not damage, it's just ugly wood... and it's location couldn't be worse. What would you guys do??
21. I ended up with a robotalk. no complaints from me
22. ah yes, but who is supporting us?
23. Yes he is i hope he let's me use his rig!!!!
24.
My new board, having just received the Future Impact. Today was the first time I've been able to mess about with the software editor, and triggering it via Keyboard, but I have to say - VERY cool. They've knocked it out of the park with this one. Barely even touched the surface of what this unit can do. MIDI cable for plugging in my keyboard controller: Underneath you can see I've connected some short MIDI cables from TheGigRig so that I never have to detach it from the board for any reason. I've taped the MIDI in cable that will be used most often to the side of the board so it sits just out of the way but is easily accessible. The MIDI Out cable is only needed for downloading sounds and firmware so isn't used live. I'm going out to the Alps for the Winter Season with a 3 piece band, so need to make it sound as big as possible. Got 6 days to get all my patches in order and songs learned, and then off I go!
I miss it so baaaaad!!!
25. My latest. Got rid of the manta and the future impact. Reintroduced reverb. And some subs
