4. No. Do not be confused, the moog boost is a static filter. Just cuts the highs at a certain frequency. The frequency is set by the knob, and cannot be controlled with the exp. You can controll the gain with an expression pedal, but nothing else. I use a source audio manta for my wubs. And a bloody good job it does too. Especially when fed a signal from a synth. The manta is a crazy flexible envelope filter pedal with distortion built in. It's almost build for wubs. But you also get great filter funk and phasers from it too.
5. the manual says the tone control acts as a 165 Hz - 20KHz Lowpass Filter at 6dB/Octave. I used it at a reggae rehersal last night and loved it thru my Eden rig. its exactly the pedal ive been looking for for sure. the overdrive sounds at higher gain settings sound lush, and used with the lowpass, i got some really subby usable tones.
6. i have just purchased the Moog MF boost. Not only does it add a subtle amount of delicious overdrive, it also has a low pass filter that sounds super sweet!!! Very useful pedal. sounds great with my synth too but in response to your original Q, the M87 can be used as a lowpass. Set the sensitivity to min so the filter docent open, then adjust the frequency of the cut with the decay control. decay is actually controlling the frequency to which the filter sweep returns at fully closed. The Q control can be used to add a small amount of boost just before the cutoff which i find very useful. i use mine as an envelope filter tho
7. i cant figure out what happened there.... the links should be in the 1st post now, could you move it for me? im pretty new to the whole forum thing and clearly i haven't got the skills yet

9. im a complete novice when it comes to electronics. I believe the pedal im trying to emulate is a 20K ohm pot.... does this mean I need a 20k resistor? and how is this different fro having an infinite ohm resistor... ie no cable... would It make sense that I may need no resistor at all, just join the wires together?
10. Can anybody help me figure out a way to simulate an expression pedal? I recently tried the moog mf boost with my bass rig and I really liked what it did to my tone. Without doubt the most subtle pedal I've ever used. But I loved what it did. It seems however, that I can get an extra 9 db of gain from it using an expression pedal. But I don't want the pedal on my boars, so I'm trying to figure out a way to simulate a fully open, heel up expression pedal. If I can figure out a way to do this, I may have to purchase one this week Any help?

12. Source audio manta can do wabs. You can controll any parameter with the source audio dual expression pedal. I have one for sale if you need
13. £32 posted For sale is my bass synth pedal by digitech. In excellent condition. i removed the rubber foot and replaced with super strong hook velcro. Works flawlessly and sounds great. Just have no use for it anymore. Its only a few months old and comes boxed with manual. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks
14. For sale is my bass limiter pedal. It's very similar to the recent LMB-3, but this pedal has no ratio controll. It's in good usable condition. But has seen some use for sure. see pics for details Check out the onvilabs review. He considers this pedal to be better than the newer version. I used it mostly on bass to sculpt my slap tone. i find it to be a very natural sounding limiter with a bass boost just where i like it. but i just have no space on my board anymore. Please feel free to ask any questions. See pics for condition, and the missing dials. Thanks
15. Thanks for all the input. The key point here is I want a product that I can Incorporate into my current setup. I don't want to rebuild my rig around a large and expensive switcher. Source audio are bring out a product next March that does exactly what I'm after. I'll just have to wait for it.
16. you would need to use the raspberry pi to control a relay, that then switches a loop on running signal through the pedal.
17. ok so i did some research, and some other forum members helped me out. The VL hex would definatly work... but a tad expensive i beleive this would also work... cheap enough, but not readily available in the UK http://www.nuxefx.com/product_detail.php?id=78 with http://www.nuxefx.com/product_detail.php?id=79 but the clincher for me seeing as i already have the Source audio hub, is.... http://www.sourceaudio.net/blog/post/source-audio-namm-countdown-2015-the-neuro-loop-switcher its not available until Q1 next year, but when it is, ill have 4 please
18. please elaborate as i assume this would require wiring a raspberry pi into the pedals right? im not really into that idea so much... unless i misunderstand?
19. ive been thinking about how i could incorporate some of my analogue pedals better into my midi controlled (midimouse + Source audio hub) rig... is there a simple solution to turning on/off a loop containing an analogue pedal? with a midi controlled looper maybe? just a thought but if anybody produced a little loop box with a on off loop controlled by midi or the SA multi function input.... i would certainly buy a few of them. anybody got any ideas?
