1.
In the blurb for the MF Boost on the Moog website it says that the Level control 'does not go completely off' which sounds like part of the problem. I'd contact Moog tech support and see if they can suggest anything - "][email protected]
quite right, the pot only reduces volume. but not to 0 that sir is a good idea
2. Thanks, although i have been told that a passive volume pot in series like this can be a tone suck and take some highs from the signal. i really have no intention of selling the pedal, and its going to be used as an always on pedal, so tone loss is not an option. is there any mod i can make to the existing pedal volume pot?
3. price drop bump
4. anybody?
5. Hello fellow chatters, i have a very limited knowledge of electronics, and i need some help, so i thaught id ask round here for some advise i have a pedal that has a gain and volume knob, however when the gain is right up, (which is where i like it) the volume knob dusnt go low enough to achieve unity. Is there a simple mod i can make to the volume pot to achive a lower volume??? the pedal in question is the Moog MF boost alternatively a small inline "set and forget" volume pot in line might do the trick as im using a looper so it could be permanently on? but i cant find one of those any help greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
6. Up. Offers?
7. so I finally got round to doing this...... turns out all you need to do is connect the tip and ring of the stereo cable simpes
8. Damn, I would have been all over this a few weeks ago!!! Great price

10. the dry signal (ring) goes through my entire board, and the wet (tip) is fed to the end
11.
Maybe, but who'd notice in a live situation ? I'd still rather have the versatility. I like being able to have 7 or 8 reverb sounds that I can just recall instantly, and switch between in the same piece.
how do you switch? and what do you run the software on? most of my dedals are digital, and i never notice any lack of realism. so im interested.
12. you should look at the source audio dimension reverb. if you can get over the size, and its ugly.... it is a fantatsic reverb with loads of great sounding engines. gives you 2 presets too i had one, and sold it. but i miss it bad!, im looking for a 2nd hand one now
13. i just contacted him via ebay and he just sent me some audio clips of the bass being played..... interesting to say the least
14.
I do like the small footprint, although I would think there might be cheaper options for an active signal splitter? Is there any way I can find out whether my pedals switch phase?
you could do this quite easily with any DAW and a sound card that has ins and outs. simply play a percussive sample through the pedal and record it on the way back in. if the direction of the transient changed, then the phase is inverted.
15. i had the same resistance or a long time. Finally gave in a few months ago an now cant gig without it. I put my meatbox first in my chain. the dry signal (ring) goes through my entire board, and the wet (tip) is fed to the end where I blend it with the dry affected signal with an LS-2. The unexpected benefit of this is that when you turn the meatbox off with the ls-2 still engaged, what was the sub signal becomes a clean blend My Eden rig can handle the lows no problem
16. I'll take it. Pmd
17. Hi, Im selling my practically brand new Sub n Up Its great - Its just not really what i was looking for. I was hoping it would push the meatbox off the board whilst giving me some usable "up" tones at the same time. Whereas the up tones are very usable, it just cant do meatbox. The chorus and flange nearly made me keep it tho Its only a few months old. Boxed as new. £85 +postage pics available on request
18. Si just bought a pedal from me. Open comms, prompt payment, just the way it should be when selling gear online. Top bloke!
19. Price drop bump
20. Virtually brand new. Great delay but I realise that delay is just not really my thing. Boxed with manuals. 200 posted 1St class Pics on request.
21. that, is a fantastic article. Thanks
22. I researched this same thing for a few months.... I settled in a behringer bdi21 into a kam 15inch battery pa speaker. It's loud. Lasts ages and sounds reasonable I shopped around and got it all for less than 200 nuggets
23. Anybody seen any good demos of it with bass? mine still hasn't arrived and im itching to hear some demos to satisfy my cravings
24. i lust picked one up on ebay for a steal!
