When I turn the tone all the way down you can still hear the bass but the output is super low, turn the tone full up and It doubles the volume.
Tone Is working as a tone control but seems to be increasing and decreasing the volume too.
Bought this On Tuesday and have noticed the pickup output Is really low compared to my CV Jazz and P.
Also when raising the tone the volume gets louder?
Anyone else own one of these and can tell me If It's the norm?
Other than that It's a cracking bass, Quality Crafted In China build.
Cheers.
I have one of these too, My second one. I stupidly flogged the 2008 one I had but now have a 2013 one and It's a keeper.
Best p bass I've owned and I've owned many. Strung with flats. Killer basses for the money.
I also have It's Jazz twin made In the same year but In rare black.
Whoever buys It won't be disappointed that's for sure. GLWTS
My two weapons of choice. Both crafted In China 2013. Both killer basses.
The jazz Is the only black crafted In China I've ever seen, most of them were white.
Superb dark rosewood necks on both. I've owned a few MIM but none of them played or sounded as good as these two.
I'm sure there are great MIM's out there but I never found one.
I own 2 basses, both classic vibe 60's Crafted In china, Fiesta red P bass and a rare black and tort Jazz. Both from 2013. Of all the basses I've owned, Fender to Jaydee , These two have stayed with me.
Play em first if poss. You don't have to spend fortune to get a great bass.
2 weeks old. Can't get on with them so gone back to rounds.
Cut for a precision.

The bass Is a Squier Classic vibe crafted In China 2013, It's the best Jazz bass I've ever owned and I've owned many Inc USA & MIM fenders but this one Is a keeper.
