Pino Palladino...once again...how sh*t hot is he?
whynot replied to merello's topic in General Discussion
Never got Entwistle or his, IMO, terrible terrible tone.
It was right for The Who. I've got a couple of tickets for the o2 gig this June and sitting on the Pino side. Kind of a 40th anniversary for me as my first gig was seeing the Who in 1973 at a very, very young age and being the reason why I wanted to play an instrument. -

Was planning to come to this today but the later part of the week went a bit crazy and ended off with a pretty nasty cold. Look forward to seeing more pictures.

GigSkinz Amp / lead bag - SOLD

GigSkinz bag for sale. Suitable for small amps such as Little Mark and RH750 size. Additional zipped pockets for leads. The bag has been used but still in good condition with zips working and no tears. Some beads in the front flap are loose internally (just hear them moving when lifting flap). Maybe this is normal but just thought I'd mention it. Only reason for selling is I have a couple of other bags and just having a clearout of items I don't use anymore. £22.00 posted.
Wow that Spector is really nice looking. I am very very tempted. But £850 is a bit too much on the Cash to GAS ratio..... Hopefully will see one at the bass show this weekend. Spector will have a stand.
I'm sure they will be showing this one or the 5 string version.

Real Electronics will replace buttons under warranty, 2 years I think. If they agree to go ahead with repair (which they should) make sure they cover courier collection cost as well so you have no cost to you. If outside of warrant or receipt issue I would contact TC customer services as a recognised issue.

Someone else needs educating, but I really can't be arsed. Thats not in response to your post Slatfatf.

I was watching that one as I have a couple of gigs it would be perfect for, but lost interest past the £200 mark.

Further details in the Lefty For Sale thread, page 77/78. Listed here as sometimes items in that thread are missed. Virtually As New, unmarked Spector 10th anniversary Rebop 4 MM. Only several weeks old. Super lightweight. Only reason for selling is I want to stay with 5 strings for gigs. Looking for £850.

Comes with original box, power adaptor and I have the manual somewhere which hopefully I'll find in the next day. I've reset to factory settings and all is working fine. I'm looking to go back to a couple of separate pedals and not getting the full use out of this which is the only reason for selling. I came up with a synth bass tone which is all I've recently been using for. Not sure what the used value is on these but will put a price of £220 including postage. Thanks for looking.

TC BG250 Combo in excellent condition and perfect working order. Only mark I can see is a faint line on the rear as in the picture, no tear, just superficial. Come with fitted Roqsolid cover. On-board tuner, tone print. Current tone print loaded is spectracomp. Been using this as backline but would like a smaller combo (1x12) as an option to my 2x12. As it comes with a nearly new cover I'm looking for £250.00 cash on collection. Thanks for looking.

This could be my quickest turnaround in bass acquisition/selling history. I used it on a gig last night and as much as I liked it I was missing my 5 string and low B big time, hence this post. Soundwise it covered everything very well from ballads to rock to funk. This thing cuts through the mix no problem. If you like big bodied heavy basses, stay away. If you like smallish bodied lightweight, this may be for you. Virtually brand new Spector Rebop 4 MM. I purchased it off a friend in the States. He ordered it about 7 months before receiving it, in the meantime acquired another bass or 2, so when this arrived it was surplus to requirements. Below is a link to the Spector site for all specifications and a rather nice looking lady demoing it, although the bass can cover more ground in sound than she's showing. The pickup was upgraded at the Spector factory from a HZ to an EMG MM. All original and stock strings still fresh! It was originally delivered in a box by Spector, so no case or gigbag I'm afraid. http://www.spectorbass.com/Euro-NS-BO/rebop4mm.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blkrjAa4kvI I'm looking for £850 for this. Would prefer collection so potential buyer can see/try the bass before buying, or postage within the UK please add £20.00. Sorry prices are firm as I'm happy to keep this bass hanging around the house for a while. I can provide more pictures from my mates original sale post is you pm me your email address. Thanks for looking.

Due to the unexpected purchase of a new bass I'm having a clearout of gear that I occasionally use but don't really need. I purchased this as a back-up plus used on the odd gig as I do like the tone of these amps. Ashdown EVOll 300 watt head. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition with no marks. All controls work fine. Leds, VU meter. No valve issues. D.i. is fine and quiet. Only downside is the sub harmoniser stopped working, but I never used it anyway. Phoned Ashdown and it's a common problem it seems but suggested a simple fix if needed. Looking for £150 or £170 including postage. Thanks for looking.
