1. Any pics? Which model is it?
2. Another of my pedals up for sale - nice little Behringer BSY600 bass synth pedal. Great condition, uses standard Boss style 9v PSU. http://imgur.com/kgKlj6Z Easily removable Velcro on base for pedal mounting. I'm in Manchester so you can pick up or happy to post at cost.
3. Would also be interested in trades for warm analogue fuzz stuff or other interesting toys!
4. I'm having a rejig of effects and so am looking to sell my fairly unusual overdrive pedal. It was handmade for me probably around 8 years ago via a talk bass thread - it's known as the Polish Love or Helter Skelter pedal built by a nice Polish guy called Bogdan. They were individual order only and only made in very small numbers. Photos here: http://m.imgur.com/a/of6Fs Some background and history of the pedal here - https://www.talkbass.com/threads/polish-love-pedal-is-that-the-official-name.435098/ Youtube demo here : https://youtu.be/zQYtl_1MgNc Mine's finished in crackle pink splatter with a yellow LED. Has drive and volume controls plus a high/low effect switch. Standard Boss PSU input. Very high quality construction and built quality. Mint condition. Looking for £40 for this unique pedal - I hate to call it boutique but this one really is rare! I'm in Manchester if you'd like to pick up or can post at cost.
5. If your band's off and the music has started - f'em. Unplug. I usually turn off my own amp but DI noise? That's the sound engineers job and as sure as eggs is eggs if a band finishes playing, they unplug...
6. CPC sell those brands if you want to see what retail is...
7. A couple of things. The promo photos appear to show an audio input for guitar which makes me think it'll do amo simulation and recording. Also it has dual independent stero output so DJs could send one out to OA and the other to headphones to mix properly. Also, that volume control dial is lovely. I want one.
8. Thanks all. Looks like hb7s the way to go.
9. Just to agree with points above - when you're playing loud and live and need to hear yourself or feel you need more bottom end - turn up the MIDS, not the bass...
10.
Surely it's in Durham, Durham. Durham, Durham, Durham, Durham, Durhaaaaaaam.
Well played, sir. 10 points to Gryffindor!
11. if it's any help, the TC BG250 amp is a 250W one and removable (with a couple of screws) from the cab. It's also the only one in the BG range that has an 8ohm cab, so you can drive a second cab with it for bigger gigs. I use mine with an Eden Nemesis 1x15 when I need more volume...
12. TC BG250 208 is a great little combo and cheap, too. Toneprint effects and a tuner mean less to carry as well...
13. Hi All Got a little project I'm working on to build a wooden stompbox - the idea is you tap your foot on the stompbox to give you a bass drum effect whilst you play - it's for an acoustic guitarist I know. I'm using an old P bass pickup with a metal plate above it and it works pretty well - mounted it in a cigar box and I can get a convincing drum noise when I tap on it. All good so far. I've wired it up to a 250k pot so I have a volume control on it, and that too is working. The bit I'm struggling with is what I want is to have an input (for guitar) and an output (for combined guitar and stomp) and a pot that acts as a mixer, so I can basically reduce the volume of the stompbox compared to the guitar. At the moment I have it working so the volume control turns down both of them which isn't quite what I want. Can anyone who's basic electrics are better than mine (i.e. anyone!) tell me how to achieve this? This is a rough diagram of what I have now - it works, but volume controls BOTH pickup and guitar...
14. His poor band, doing they're best to fill in for FQ. Feel bad for them when they're told to f off. Justified, mind.
15.
These aren't 'likes' on facebook, these are testimonies which validate that you are a legitimate and trustworthy individual to enter into a financial transaction with.
But eBay no longer functions according to reputation. It's grown to become an amazon, if you will. Reputation means nothing, for a buyer they will win in the event of a dispute. For a seller, they will lose in the event of a dispute. Reputation isn't a factor in trading in eBay anymore. Just MHO, obviously...
16. I have been on eBay since it started, probably have 700 transactions. I don't usually bother anymore as it's meaningless. If you're a buyer and there's a dispute, you'll always win. The only feedback I look for is negative on odd looking listings. EBay isnt there to build your ego with positive feedback.
17. I've been engineering the conversation around what great bargains in designer handbags and clothes there are off International Drive. Seems to be working. She asked me if there were any guitar shops there for me... ;-)
18. Hi All, Picking up a Squier CV 70s Precision next month. Tuners feel kind of cheap. What's the standard upgrade that doesn't require redrilling of screw holes? thanks! Ric

20. Perfect. Missus is away, kids in bed, doing a setup on my jazz, glass of wine in hand. Thanks for the tip! Cheers
21. I've got a Behringer BSY600 that I'd trade if you were interested? Great and fun bass synth...
22.
You should practice in the same position as you do most of your playing that you are practicing for. That means if you do gigs standing up then you should practice standing up. If you sit down when playing, then you should use the same seat for both practicing and performing.
Wrong way round. I'm getting a roadie to bring my sofa to my next gig... ;-)
23. Just ordered a Squier CV 70s Precision in black, with maple neck from Guitar Center Orlando, so I can pick it up when I'm over there on holiday at the end of the month :-) Now, how to justify to the missus...
