1. So Julianne Regan's a bass guitarist eh? Last time I saw her she was sporting a strat and before that a Ricky 360. In fact I've seen her live maybe a dozen times and she's never played bass. I still get all gooey when I remember her smiling at me last time I saw her. Phoar.
2. That was really interesting and very hands on. It shows how the Japanese have a knack of taking Western designs and basically just doing things better. I'm sure a lot of our own custom builders take as much care but as to whether the likes of Fender etc do I don't know.
3. This is great news. I first saw SA back in 1997 while on holiday in Arizona where they were supporting Henry Rollins. There must have been no more than 25-30 watching their set. Anyway when they finished me, my girlfriend and our American friends introduced ourselves to the drummer. The ice breaker was that my gf's brother had interviewed Mark Richardson for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph two weeks previously and they got on really well. He invited us for drinks with the rest of the band and stayed with them for the rest of the evening. Skin was lovely, totally the opposite of her manic stage persona and came back from the bar with beers plus free CDs for us. Missed all of the Rollins set. Can't wait for the tour.
4. I've added him as a favourite seller. Like I said minutes of fun to be had. I guess it takes all sorts...
5. He's at it again. You've got to love this guy! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/fender-bass-case-mou...%3A1%7C294%3A50 And this time he's also looking for a bassist. Any takers? Read some of his other listing especially those touting his Shadows tutorials. Minutes of fun to be had.
6.
I remember Jets. No longer there. Bars in that area change like water. Your memory is vivid - mant good looking girls there. Let me know when you travel to Scottsdale again!
Will do, although it probably won't be til next year. Only went to Jets once but the memory stays with me. Whenever I'm over there I always end up in the Mill Ave Beer Co in Tempe for some reason. I think it must be the beer. I have friends in Gilbert so it's always a fun trip.
7. Scottsdale..? I went to a bar called Jetz or Jets there a few years ago. Beautiful waitresses on roller skates tending to my every need. Is it still there. I go to Phoenix every couple of years but didn't venture to Scottsdale last time.
8. That maple neck looks lovely. I keep hearing on here that the current Skylines aren't as good as they once were which is why Lakland have moved production. You all seem very happy with yours though.
9.
Q: What's the difference between a Buffalo and a Bison? A: you can't wash your 'ands in a Buffalo
Excellent. Go to the head of the class. I will now steal that joke and claim it as my own. I saw a ram rather than a bison myself.

11. Excuse my ignorance but what does IEM mean?
12. If you check my posts I did put a bass free backing track up for this.
13. He seems to shift a lot of low value items which is a good way to get your feedback up. He does seem to be a bit of a knob though with a very aggressive and unprofessional attitude. He's quite willing to give his number out so the next time I pass a pay phone...
14. I just thought I'd check my eBay messages and lo and behold he tells me how "HONNEST" (his spelling and use of upper case not mine). I'm surprised he even bothered to reply however the listing has been ended so I don't think I'm the only one who thought it was odd. For some reason my question has not been listed so maybe he ended the auction before replying to it. Someone, somewhere is still a grand better off I think so that's a result. I've added him/her/it to my favourite sellers so I'm looking forward to some baiting in the future. I've just looked at his other items and found them just as badly worded. A career in sales would not be his forte. The Strat body is worth checking out for a giggle. A chap has got to have a hobby.
15. This caught my eye and I think there is something wrong here. It's possibly the worst description I have ever seen. The seller is quite abrupt with anyone asking questions too. Scam alert. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RICKENBACKER-360-12-...bayphotohosting Tell me again, what's the serial number? (choose a different font this time)
16. I'll try that approach tomorrow and let you know how I get on
17. I'm really arsed off at not being allowed to go for this. I've just had another look at this with a teary eye and thinking what may have been (if only I had been better at hiding stuff I would have got away with it) I was going to go along the line of it's 25 years old, got a few knocks and originally cost £200. She would never have known. I've still not been forgiven for buying a Tele last year. I think she's feeling guilty and says I can have it if I sell one of my other guitars so if anyone fancies an Admira Alicia single cutaway nylon string classical in very good condition for £400 let me know
18. If that is the case he is stuck with it. Maybe having it professionally refitted would make it more appealing.
19. Well as this was originally posted at two minutes past midnight I'm beginning to think it may be a wind up in which case I tip my cap to chaps - I've been well and truly had. Especially as the mods have been quiet since midday. Revenge will be mine!!!
20. I'm not sure I like the sound of this at all.
21. I use the little in ear Sennheiser ones and have no complaints apart from when 'er indoors bangs them in her nano to go to the gym. iPod Nano that is before tBBC gets in before me. I think I've just set myself up.
22. Welcome on board one of the internets friendliest (most of the time) sites.
23. Ohh lovely. Just found this on YT. This guy is an incredible acoustic guitarist but does a nice job on this bass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w22hOt7cFs I shudder to think what something like this would cost.
24. Checking out the Fishbone track now
