  1. I have used Howard/BassDoc for about 30 years and still do to this day. Never ever had a problem from running repairs, set ups right through to full builds. He has had many of my basses in that time, most fairly expensive fender type things and I have never had an issue. Sorry to hear anyone has, irrelevant of the sums of money involved, and I am sure things can be sorted directly without a public execution on here. Surprised its a General Discussion topic tbh.
  2. So gigged the Stomp twice this weekend with two different bands. Used it through the DB751 and Barefaced 610 and it was magnificent! Had the presets ready to go and this thing just works, really bloody well too! Lots of comments from the sound techs for both gigs about the tone and clarity and sat beautifully in the mix with my 69 P bass. Last nights sound with Fu Fighters was👌 So glad I took the plunge and sold off all, yep all my pedals. Incredible but of kit and I’ve probably only scratched the surface of what it can do but so far so good! If you’re in two minds, just do it you won’t be disappointed.
  3. I’ve just swapped to La Bella low tension flats. Absolutely brilliant! Love em, on all 3 of my basses ( 2 P basses and a Dingwall )
  4. Yeah I’d never used multi FX ever either and my pedal board was a canny size. Now I have a Line 6 G50 and a stomp. Incredible! Does absolutely everything really really well. More than enough for what I need now and great fun to craddock about with too. Yeah I’ll be using it live for the tour this year, see how it fairs but i don’t miss my old board, not a jot.
  5. Me too! Just put flats on my 68 and 69, absolutely killer! Oh and on my Dingwall ABZ too. Amazing bass by the way GLWTS 🤘
  6. Scales say 4.1kg and nut is 1 5/8ths
  7. Yeah it’s a beauty! I’ll get a weight when I get in mate.
  8. Cheers man, I had a Jazz version with maple board. Sure was pretty! Cheers man
  9. Few pictures from under the hood! Reckon it’s the first time it’s ever been opened up. All cleaned and sounds damn good too! Anything else just shout.
  10. Sorry mate board only. Case sold separately
  11. Cheers man. Yeah the guys obviously taken amazing care of it. Sounds pretty damn good too
  12. .
  13. Ha ha yeah GAS is terrible!
  14. It’s pretty damn good and sounds incredible. FRFR is something I’m keen to look at hence the sale of this and the pedals and board. Welcome to try if you like mate
  15. Yeah I use it with a Barefaced 6x10 so that kinda justifies the weight 😂
  16. My Favourite Amp ever! Absolutely love mine ❤️
  17. Yeah super small, bloody good bit of kit for the money.
  18. I use the G10 at home, canny bit of kit for about £100. G50 on my board too.
  19. Better/individual pics. All prices include U.K. post.
  20. Aye it’s bloody good like, wouldn’t move it on but the Stomp has changed things up a bit. Looking at FR800 now to replace this lot.
  21. It’s 450 @ 8 ohm. And a 115 with tweeter
  22. . PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE NOW. Fulltone Bass Drive £220 Artec Big Dots tuner - £20 Empress Buffer £100 Can ship or collect Hexham. Pedals photographed individually Below.
  23. NOW £325 AND WITH MUCH BETTER PICS TKS 115 Cab This is the original version (the newer version is slightly smaller). Features an adjustable tweeter - factory fitted as an optional extra. It was made in 2014. Its a 1x15 with tweeter. 450w at 8 ohms. It measures a little under 30" high x little over 20" wide x 15.5" deep and weighs a very manageable 17kg due to its Neodymium driver. Pretty much unmarked and has always lived in its snug-fitting padded TKS cover. New, when available, these cabs cost close on £700 with an adjustable tweeter (+£75) and padded cover (+£50). A fantastically powerful and articulate cab that is lightweight and very manageable. Beautifully made, and just oozes class. No trades ( unless it’s Barefaced FR800) as I’m sorted for gear! DB751 and Barefaced 6x10 not for sale.
  24. Yeah been using it exclusively through my rig so should be right. Must admit I’ve only scratched the surface at the minute but reckon I should be able to nail what I need it to do for my live sounds. Pretty impressive stuff!
