    Play a lot of festivals with Fu Fighters, and another rock based covers band. The Aggie and 610 is unbelievable with a P bass and flats which is my main rig, but the HB is bloody good! May use it Sat in Cleethorpes

    Well, its here and good god!!! Just a quick noodle through the Barefaced 610 and it is MIGHTY!!! No need to go into mega details as its been covered in this thread better than I will be able to explain but if you get a chance, try it! Buy it! The tone and sound/heft is mega. I was expecting something decent but blimey its good, I mean really good. Simple to use and my word! Looks like it may get a run out with the Fu's this weekend at Cleethorpes Fake Fest to see how it performs at 'louder' 😂 And I mean for the price......

    Yeah I'm kinda leaning towards maybe one of each. Paint one and keep one natural. Not the plan at the beginning but the grain is looking well so far.

    Yeah one is allparts and another handmade so it’s an option for sure. Waiting for the 62 custom shop pups to arrive today and then a quick dry run once lined up before I shape the body and stuff more accurately.

    Hmm was going to paint them but the grain looks lovely. So I’m now undecided. Plenty of time before I have to decide.

    Thanks mate, Hated routing at first but kinda enjoyed it once I remembered to take my time and it wasn't a rush. Started shaping the arm and belly curves too and will give it a tentative dry run over the next few days before I commit to the many hours of sanding and sealing. Its kind of addictive isn't it! 😁

    All routed out, dry fit of the neck and all seems ok. Now sanding, lots and lots of sanding!! All bits bar pick ups here so almost dry fit time!

    Thanks mate, aye that’s what I thought get as much material out with a drill and then tidy with the router. I’ve got a 9mm set of jogs I bought off the net so they should do for the first run and see how they do. If it goes well I’ll make a hardwood set maybe

    Yep bought a black HCA one, sold it. Instant regret as was awesome so very happy when this one appeared. Will never sell this one. Such good basses!
