I don’t find them woolly at all. Get plenty of clank out of them, lovely sound and idea for the rock, slightly drive sound I have 🤷‍♂️

Old P bass with La Bella flats - killer combo!!! Have 'em on all mine. Play through a DB751 and Barefaced 610 which no doubt helps but man the sound is epic!

Yeah it has flats on it at the minute. I’ll give it a run through the Handbox R400 and the Aguilar DB751 and see how she sounds. I like flats so won’t have rounds on while in my possession

Hello all, been offered one of these in a trade and it looks like an interesting thing, but I don’t know much about them. Does anyone have one/had one who can pass on some knowledge please? It’s a 1964 bass - serial number 67947. I know dating stuff like this can be difficult. All original bar the toggle apparently. Thanks Paul

They did hardly any ‘jamming’ at Belfast when we went over to watch them a few weeks ago ( we are Fu Fighters so a tribute ). They were excellent, well polished played, super chilled and did lots more Foos songs than usual, as they tend to do a lot of covers in their set. Totally enjoyed it and they looked cool as, you just can’t help but love Pat Smear! Next morning having a coffee we spotted Chris Shiflett wandering past so nipped out for a chat and a pic. Had loads of time for us, right good chat and what a lovely bloke. Not watched Reading yet as we were gigging yesterday too so I’ll catch up now 🤘
